Sometimes the best way is to keep things simple. I remember Adelman trying to implement his Princeton offense and have Yao operate out of the high post. It didn't take long to realize the best option was just to give it to Yao down low and have him go to work. As long as our players play to their strengths complexity isn't a concern for me.
Win and the usual suspects will claim luck or it’s just a regular season game in February. Lose and it will be all the evidence they need to crucify everyone. Should be a fun night.
I don't think we can win. Wait, I pretty much know we can't because of Foster. I think we'd have a chance without him reffing. But a win tonight would look great. It wouldn't really mean much, though. Both teams will be in different places by the time the playoffs start. But for tonight: If Lakers win == you see, this small ball stuff doesn't win! If Rockets win == well the Rockets got lucky tonight, just wait till they meet them in the playoffs! This won't work for a whole playoff series!
luxury tax saving, 10:30 pm game time and scott foster reffing on the same day?? can't get any worse than this right?
Supposedly, and they will unluckily go something like 1 of 12 from 3 point land and the board will explode that the Rockets are facing inevitable doom.
It can! TNT crew! Barkley et al being insufferable. "I told you Chuck that this smallball stuff will never work!" Chuck "It's just not the way the game is meant to be played."
I figure Chuck would hate the trades, he over values size which is why every year he picks Denver and Utah to actually do something in the playoffs and they never do. Because he sees they have good big men and that's what he'd build his team around.
Over/ under on how many times TNT crew will use the reference : "I want someone who is going to pass."
