We accidentally got under the Luxury Tax again....

    still, he hasn't had the chance to add salaries on his own terms if they pay the luxury tax.

    Signing a bad contract like Eric Gordon's is not Tillman's fault

    Capela/frp was needed for Robo and the other two were dead weight and open roster spots. I just have seen anything that the luxury tax was a reason the Rockets didn't get x.

    Yep that trade was also about basketball...but it definitely got the team below the tax line.

    Feels appropriate to revive this. We should honestly just fill the board with old posts that point out times where we took a step back from a championship to save money.
