I loved Jake's defense but his lack of consistent offense would drive me crazy. If you remember he was the starting CF at the beginning of 2015, but eventually the production didn't warrant him playing full time and they ended up making that horrible Carlos Gomez trade.
His defensive production warranted starting in 2015 despite being frustrating at the plate. Tough to see great defensive performance except when you've had horrible performance like the Mets. Gomez was erroneously seen as an upgrade.
There are these new ways in touch with your BFF. They are called "Cellular phones", which have the ability to place TELEPHONE calls to you talk with your BFF. They are can use another FEATURE called TEXT messages to send quick, word communication to each other. WOW, is that GREAT technology? There is also something called "Social Media", in the forms of "Twitter", "Instagram", and "Facebook" (watch out of the last one, it spies on you.). They can leave each messages on those platforms using the aforementioned "Cellular Phone" or another invention called "The Personal Computer". /s
