What a dufus. I wouldn't touch him with a ten foot poll. He needs to ride into the sunset. His girlfriend has totally brainwashed the guy. He grew up in privilege and is currently a millionaire. Really oppressed.

I wouldn't want him to be a mentor for Deshaun Watson.

And didn't he piss off a bunch of Cubans in Miami by wearing a pro-Castro shirt when Castro passed away / 49ers played at Miami?

No matter how impressive his workout could have been, his interviews afterwards basically sunk whatever chance he had at getting another job.

You don't show up to a job interview and essentially tell the guys hiring you to go f*** themselves.

Regardless of what you think of his politics, that's just stupid and entitled behavior.

Not sure mentorship of a young, hope-to-be franchise QB would be one of the reasons a team brings him in. Kap knew nothing was gonna come of this and it was clearly evident when 8 "scouts" showed up. Nothing to do at that point than to just act hard and pull the "they're scared" excuse.

Part of me thinks he does not want to play anymore and the worse thing that could happen to him is a team giving him a chance.

At this point, he just isn't worth the circus that comes with him.

Agreed. Whatever talent he may have been able to showcase, is all for not. Maybe he never had any intention to play, just another platform to use...
