In the spirit of self-governance, that great American civic virtue.

Simple question. Does the D&D currently have precisely the right number of mistake-in-chief threads on the first page every day, or should there be MORE mistake-in-chief threads? Or, for you Trump apologists and other social misfits and ne'er-do-wells, should there be FEWER mistake-in-chief threads?

I'll let this poll run for a week or two. If we need a second poll, I'll open up a new one once after these results are tabulated.

I think you would get better poll results if you just left yourself out of it and didn't display your narcissism. It's obvious you admire the attention. More people annoyed by you means you are a good skeptic, an instigator, someone who is unique and isn't part of the hive mind. At least that is what is running in your head.

I honestly think he is just having fun. But it is true that the condemnation of his non-Trump threads was swift and pointed, FWIW.

Whether or not you like his humor, I do think having humor in this forum is fine and even good, overall.

I don't see the humor. I see a guy who believes the priorities of discussion are not what he wants them to be and therefore throws hissy fits with posts like these.

Okay, I thought several of the options were kind of funny. I understand your frustration, and I understand his as well. The country could talk about topics other than Trump and might even benefit from that, even in times like these, and even if we disagree with the topics Os might introduce instead of Trump. Cheers.

Sure we can talk about important matters outside of Trump such as our healthcare policy or education. But I don't think OS is doing it in good faith by trying to find stories of what the Massachusetts State Legislator is deliberating over and labeling the thread "Those crazy democrats".

If you want to look at good faith expression of Os' "complaint" look at @JuanValdez posts regarding Texas propositions.

I think the mistake-in-chief is an important subject. He's a guy that, for better or worse -- okay, mostly for worse -- impacts pretty much everyone on the planet. So, I wouldn't want fewer threads on all the disastrous things he does. But, we could stand to have more threads on subjects apart from him. It's possible to have concurrent conversations about Trump and about female circumcision or whatever else you want. Of course, it looks like some emergent internet law that any argument will eventually gravitate toward an argument about Trump.

If he would stop making mistakes, then the threads wouldn't be made. This is on the mistake-in-chief.

Hey Os, as unintended as it likely was, thanks for helping my moniker for the mistake-in-chief catch on.

Now we can all focus on fixing the mistake.
