25 men LOB from all the at bats where hitters had men on. Just shows you they failed A LOT of times with men on. They were 3-12 with RISP, which is actually not terrible, however 9 times is a lot of times to fail. Team total LOB was 11.

I'm praying Strasburg has a dud of a game like Cole did or at least Verlander matches him and pitches a little better than him and wins.

    Dammit, Springer. Just damn.

He also lolly-gagged on a groundout @ Tampa.

Love ya, man, but stop that crap.

Yordan was 2 for 3 tonight. He was on base 3 times.

Oddly enough, he actually has a better avg this postseason than Springer.

Pray the Stros find their bats. Bregman why don’t you swing on your first pitch. Be more aggressive for once.

Ya, but when Springer gets contact, it's a homerun hence why his slugging percentage is far higher.

Bregman needs to get his **** together ASAP. He can't continue to get 0 hits, that **** will not fly as someone who's supposed to be an "MVP" type offensive threat.

springer and brantley both. how do you not run the ****ing bases in the damn world series???

bother equally inexcusable. brantley arguably moreso. that was just laziness.

haven't been this disgusted about a loss in a long time.

Tampa was frustration, but you gotta play hard. He and other bats were struggling and he was frustrated.

Tonight was unnecessary showboating. He thought it was a homer.... it was not.

I've never understood lolly-gagging in the first place.
    1) You're not guaranteed being out.
    2) You could be hurting the team.
    3) You could be hurting your own stats.
    4) Good hustle might make the defender rush, thus, f*** up.

Was the Brantley reference when Pettis waived him and then stopped him?

Poor Verlander he has to pitch his butt off because Stros can’t afford to lose back to back at home.

that was the play, yes....if he was sprinting instead of jogging (which i haven't a clue why he wasn't), he scores easily on that play. have people not mentioned that?

    this was an inexcusable loss.

Still think the Nationals strategy to use multiple starting pitchers in games is going to catch up with them, but as the front runner, it's working for them.
Greinke gonna have to earn his paycheck this series and have Cole's back. He's capable.

This is why I hated all that David vs Goliath bs. The Nationals are really good. And btw, I hate it when Houston teams are favored. We always preform better as underdogs.

Saw it differently, but I could be wrong.

That CRAP (along with Springer's antics) might have me thinking we deserve to lose.

I'll accept all undeserving victories though.

I have figured out how teams can beat the Astros. At the beginning of every inning, intentionally walk the 1st 2 Astros batters. Then the next 3 will be strike out, strike out, pop up. Do that for 9 innings, you can guarantee Astros will score 1-2 runs the whole game.

Yeah the Canadian network said if he hustled from the start and for whatever he stays at 2nd it's fine because he ran from the start. But to do what he did is unexcusable because now you have the what if factor.

Also did I tell everyone I hate the 2-3-2 format. I understand why the MLB does it. I know it worked out in the ALCS but seems like a big disadvantage if you split the 1st 2 games for the home team. Maybe it's just me.
