Devo’s trend was 5 OK appearances at the end of a terrible season. I hope if he does pitch he does well, but the only scenario he should pitch is in a blow out to eat some innings. If that’s the reason he’s there I think Miley can go longer and gives you a lefty. I don’t think either of them should actually be on the roster though.

Oh, my. One of this year's ALDS umps, Eric Cooper, passed away on Sunday at the age of 52. Blood clot following knee surgery. Sad. Prayers for his family.
