The lies never stop... trump says they are coming home, but actually they are simply moving to a different part of the middle east...

UN troops should help, but they don’t. Not their problem either.

Good lord. We have a guy in the Oval Office, at least when he bothers to go there, that is not only a pathological liar who's totally devoid of empathy or a conscious, obsessed with sucking up to strongmen vastly more intelligent than he is (not difficult). No, that is far from all we are stuck with. He can't remember the names of the key people working for him, and writes like he's in the 8th grade. That's being generous. A hell of a lot could be added to what's wrong with the fellow. It's simply too depressing to continue listing it all.

Mr trump has caused more damage to our country, our relationships with our friends and allies, and our moral standing in the world, while doing more good for our enemies, than I thought possible in 3 years. If there is anything at all remarkable about Mr trump, it is that.

Or I haven't fallen for the layers upon layers of propaganda you consumed since the Obama admin sold the war. Does is bother you to have the chosen one mentioned in a negative manner?

Whereas Dick "Lord of the Sith" Cheney wanted to invade Syria. Thankfully his nominal boss Bush the Lesser didn't go for it (I guess if Assad like Saddam had tried to kill Bush the First, then we might have gone in). Imagine how that might have played out.

Lots of what-iffing here. I still say Trump's withdrawal seems awfully fishy, but let's just hope ISIS doesn't enjoy a resurgence as a result.

No it doesn't bother me. I am neutral to Obama.

What bothers me is the either intentional spin or downright idiocy, required, to try and spin the Kurds reaction to the troops leaving as anything other than what it clearly is.

You are either an idiot, a troll or mentally unwell.

    Can you blame them?

Imagine you are a minority group fighting for independence and the USA states they will back you if you help them.

Would you? I wouldn't..... the US foreign policy has progressively become less trustworthy.

    No they don't.

What did they expect the U.S. to do? Stay in Northern Syria forever, fight the Turks on their behalf and force Iraq, Turkey, Iran and Syria to cede them territory to create a nation-state?

ISIS was a threat to the Kurds and everyone else in the region. We fought with them to destroy ISIS. That alliance benefited the Kurds as much as the U.S.. That doesn't mean we are obligated to protect them from their other enemies in perpetuity.

Y’all will be happy to know that Trump isn’t pulling all of our troops out from Syria. He’s leaving a few to secure Syrian oil fields.

There’s a lot of space between “forever” and “rapid withdraw”.

Good lord. You will go to any lengths of self-delusion in order to support your guy, Mr trump.
