The Chinese government is incapable of dealing with human beings in any way other than complete and total domination.

They can't deal with people who won't roll over and show their belly, because that is what they've demanded from every single one of their citizens all the time.

They will eventually either have to take over and rule the whole world, so they can dictate to everybody how to act, or figure out how to deal with people who won't genuflect in response to every command.

See you still dont understand. America is not one being. There are many people in America with different views, often contradictory. Daryl Morey is a Republican. He also doesn't like Trump. He apparently cares about Hong Kong protestors. James Harden likes strippers. He likes to sell shoes and give his paycheck to hoes. Trump has his views, but many in America thinks hes an ass.

Which is to say, Americans are not one collective. But China is. When Winnie the Pooh gives a direction, every news outlet must speak the same thing. Every chinese person must speak the same thing(the rest gets their views erased or their person erased).

If you ever watched Star Trek, the US is the federation, and China is borg. These are different things and cant be compared.

America is "one being" in this context because the actions are led by one concerted force: the government-military-industrial-entertainment complex. My choice of words are precise: Americans are mostly unaware of the propaganda BECAUSE of what some would call "controlled opposition", so there are two political parties appearing to go at it, there, now everyone must be given a voice on "either side", hence everyone must be hailing freedom of expression, everyone is free to say anything. However, the beauty of "controlled opposition" is that the real dissents can be completely kicked outside of the system, and no one would notice. For those dissidents who manages to appear in public, the media has a way to start smear-campaigns, and America has no problem to follow suit unilaterally.

Research the works of Antony C. Sutton, if you don't mind a little academics. His subject matters should be foundational knowledge for any students interested in history, but voila, not so quick, let's pump in more propaganda and fake academics and give them nobel prizes.

CCP imo has actually become a closer ally to USA recently to play the bad-actor role. You can look at it this way: CCP is a testing ground to draconian policies for the western world. As CCP does a 10, USA doing a 6 wouldn't seem so bad anymore when it starts to roll out some hi-tech NSA stuffs. As for Morey, what he said is at least a seriously irresponsible misnomer, because HK kids are not fighting for freedom, they are borderline terrorists now, destroying the freedom of other citizens, and vandalizing public-infrastructures with various kinds of bombs while wearing face-masks to hide their identity. Why China is mad is because a western public figure openly supports terrorism, and in their eyes, a fuel that is related to separatist movements. You could say reacting to a "tweet" is oversensitive, but there are many more layers to consider from their perspective which the American public are not interested in.

Layers upon layers of propaganda and brainwashing are enveloping both sides, but believe it or not, it is much moreso in the west, if just for the simple reason that westerners are generally not interested enough to go into details, so we rely on surface-level manipulative/fabricated news sources. On the other hand, the Chinese have their problems, but they are much more sophisticated on this subject matter than the Americans, if also only for the simple reason that they are involved directly. They are publicly studying up on the various "color revolutions" cooked up by the American strategists, for example.

Though I do feel for him for probably being innocent and trying to be supportive, ideally if Morey cared about HK protesters, he would research the subject more before the tweet. I'm in the Lebron camp that Morey was not informed enough before his tweet. Morey himself said he had since got to learn about more perspectives in a "complicated situation". Had he known about these other perspectives in this complicated matter, I bet he wouldn't make that tweet in that way. Some people forgets that Morey agreed with Lebron way before Lebron did.

You’ve literally listed out features of a representative republic that every American over 12 years old knows, and are trying to use it as evidence for something as if you’re the only one that knows it exist. OK, I understand this stuff may seem outrageous to most of you, so I rather not talking too much. But first of all, China is definitely a bad actor on their own in terms of repressing freedom in the recent years. I never said America has anything to do with Xinjiang re-education camps. I mentioned how progressive ideologies have always been installed by America ON BOTH SIDES of a conflict. In fact, I QUOTED David Rockefellker, who's the head of Chase, who had set up banks in China, and is related to these operations. I gave you a hint of the source, you can google it: 1973 NYT from a China traveler. There's another direct source from YALE, if you want it, maybe look up their daily newspaper historical archive on the leap year day in 1972.

As such, America has a long history of installing or helping form repressive or self-destructive regimes in order to gain advantage. The perpetrator can even be oblivious, they can simply have the "fire in the minds of men", another source investigated by a respected American politician and academic. Same with the HK riots, these kids mostly actually think they're doing something good because the propaganda tell them they can become martyrs.

I am simply saying America's strategy to dominate does not only include replacing favorable leaders in various countries via "democratizing" them or military coup (you can study PNAC).
