Way to go Breg. Let’s keep Yankees in the game because that’s what Stros do

Something has to give w these guys... there’s too much talent in this lineup to routinely leave runs on the bases. So frustrating.

Bregman with an excellent swing on an 0-2 count. Just a lot of bad luck this postseason with hitting at the fielders

The ball is simply not flying like the regular season. Not sure if that hurts or helps us the rest of the postseason

They didn’t take even want bregman and Alvarez to face the same hand pitcher twice in a row lol

Bregs put a good swing on it

Yordan is a rookie , I know he’s been great but in the postseason , other teams are throwing the book at him ..... it’s gotta be a tough adjustment

On the plus side : every one of our top four hitter has had at least one good at bat tonight

Bregs with 107 off the bat and 100... and is 1-2 with a single.

According to Girardi all these pitching changes will mess him up....

Deciding whether to swing at a first pitch from an MLB pitcher is probably one of the hardest decisions in sports. However, Yordan is neither as disciplined as Bregman to err on the side of taking nor as good at making contact as Altuve to err on the side of swinging. However, he's be defaulting to taking and getting behind, and he's just not experienced enough to do that, so I'd say tell him to take rips on the first pitch, and see how it goes. The other way is not working.

Thus far, JV has recovered well after his 3-day.
