Why can't people just respond without being a dick?

The offense has been horrid this postseason. Not one rally type inning besides an inning where the pitcher was tipping pitches and that pitcher had two pitches to work with anyways so tipping one type of pitch gives away everything.

    100% this.

Also, it's a complete drubbing, a bad look.

They know they have to approach the plate differently next game now if they didn't already, this made it clear.

Umm... right now this Astros team is further in the playoffs than your shitty McNair lead Texans ever have been in their entire franchise existence.

The Astros beat the Rays because they were better than the Rays.

The offense didn't do anything outside of the Glasnow games. Makes you wonder.

Dave Hudgens was the hitting coach and Cora was the bench coach when the Stros wons in 2017. Cora went to the Red Sox and they took off, beating the Stros with a gentlemens sweep along the way. Hudgens left for the young Blue Jays in 2018. Watching the highlights from the 2017 playoffs, the lineup looked sooo comfortable/ They played with heart and confidence. Also had Beltran and McCann who provided a lot of advice and leadership to the rest of the team.

Last year the Astros beat the Red Sox in game one of the ALCS 7-2. The Red Sox went on to win 4 straight including 3 in Houston and then the WS. Baseball is a weird sport..not over till someone wins 4.

maybe the Yankees are just better than the Astros, like the Red Sox were just better last year. Yankees are on a roll haven’t lost in the postseason yet.

Well hell. We will see what this team is made of tomorrow.

I fully expect this series to be a heavyweight prize fight.

Exactly, I will never forget how unbeatable the Yankees looked against the Red Sox going up 3-0, until the Sox went in a unprecedented run to win that series and the whole thing

Let's not forget that this Yankees team is pretty capable of this, winning games in dominant fashion and then not really following up on it.

Remember Judge playing "Start spreading the news" Last year, splitting the first two games with the Red Sox to only go on and not win again? The game they won was also a Tanaka pitched game.

Remember the year before that they won 3 games in a row at home, only needed to win one more...and didn't?

Point is, they got us tonight, got us good, but this is far from over.

Every great WS run has adversity with ups and downs. Astros were good enough to beat a good TB team with poor offensive showing. Only a few teams could have done that. You just never know when it will click for the offense.

Seriously, people acting like the Rays and Yankees aren't good teams who are also trying to do everything they can to win.
