If Tilman wasn't a little b****, Clutch would dress up as Pooh for Halloween.

Remember someone in the Rockets organization said fireworks. This is the ultimate fireworks.

Still weak statement, instead it could be :

"I understand that there are consequences from that exercise of, in essence, his freedom of speech. But this is the core value of our country and we will always stand by it and encourage people to fight for it."

It would not shock me to see Morey resign with one of those deals where the team agrees to quietly pay him his full salary even though he's voluntarily leaving his post.

Welcome to life under the thumb of an autocratic dictator. The sad thing is 30 to 40% of this country craves this type of social construct where a thin skinned autocrat has this much control & can change so much about their citizens day to day life on the whim of one thin skinned ego maniac's feelings getting hurt.

Let this be a lesson for all of those who watch FoxNews and think to themselves that Democracy is too pesky for my Cleric who is telling me everything I want to hear at the moment. Do we want to live in a world where one leader with the right title can get his feelings hurt & essentially turn off an entire sport??

People need to wake up. Hopefully this shakes people up a little bit here about how things can look like when you let a small minded narcissist have unchecked power in a dictatorship.

Is wikipedia banned in your country? Go look up the GDP's of all the other countries and the salaries of NBA players.

Accurate translation is necessary on both sides. Morey and Silver's words have been tweaked in china; in this case, CCTV is only banning the broadcast of NBA China games for now.

All this over a freaking retweet.

    Bye Chinese government.

By the way, I never considered the Chinese government the same as the people. Plenty of mainlanders still support Hong Kong, they just can't voice their opinions.

Which could be the real purpose / ripple effects that Morey is hoping for.

'The new era of revolution by information."

The more I think about it, the more I believe this is a calculated move by Morey.

    Free Hong Kong! Free China.

Our city should keep this forking genius and hero of the people forever.

Nobody would believe that, it would be as transparent as firing him and capitulating to China, which is the real s**tstorm right now. China forcing out an American executive.

The Chinese citizens have never and will never participate in a real election or be able to voice thier own opinions. Oh and now they can't watch NBA. All that and more and many of them seem to have no problem with it...
