I don't know how selective my memory is. I think I was always in on Hinch and feel smart about it. But I also supported BOB staying in 2017...mayyybe even some in 2018? Ugh, we're all idiots.

I never turned on Verlander. LOL. Read what I posted in that thread...........it was basically mocking the posters who do those type of threads after 1 game, 1 week, 1 month into season. Geez.

Sorry you guys don't understand that.

I should have put the /s

LOL. Yeah, full of sarcasm. You are simply a dumbass.

    Title says it all.

No urgency. Lack of hitting. Pitching is suspect.

    Bring up Tucker.

    Do something.

I don't care if it is 7 games into the season.

We know why the Texans are mediocre. Why are the Astros? This team is supposed to be the BEST IN BASEBALL.

I understand the Astros' History. Astros need a decent April....to catapult for the rest of the season. When they struggle in April.....Almost never goes well (few exceptions).

bobrek, my intent was not to be a prick with my comment to you about mentioning to posters who are hypocritical or have crazy viewpoints. Just that there are SO many of them that it becomes an exercise in futility dealing with (or straightening) them out. Sorry if my reply came off harsh.

So that Hinch hiring. Worked out pretty good, I'd say.

    A.J. Hinch
The Astros manager is Brodie Van Wagenen's close friend, and industry speculation has swirled for months that the Mets might try to trade for him. This one is likely to remain an interesting rumor, though. Folks familiar with the situation say that while Hinch might be ready for a new challenge, a manager trade would simply be too complicated, and too much of a longshot.

He's done alright, I guess. I hold it against him that he's only 10 years older than me.

    LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

    *catches breath*

    OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL.

There's a snowball's chance in hell that AJ would leave one of the most talented teams of all-time, a GM that he is 100% on the same page with and an owner that has been open to spending money for a team that is merely above-average talent-wise, a GM that has seemed very difficult to get along with so far and owners who have proven an inability to get out of the way and let his GM and manager do their job.

I get that he's friends with Van Wagenen, but that alone isn't gonna convince him to take a BAD job.

The NY sports privilege/arrogance is real when they think that just because they have a guy's friend as GM and they're a NY team that they can pry away arguably the best manager in baseball from unquestionably the best team in baseball.
