I actually can't tell if you're being serious or being sarcastic, simply because we know both those guys like to have consistency in their pitching schedule. They might not like 10-11 days of rest. Others probably would. I dunno.

Buck was using sarcasm. I expect Hinch won't let them get close to 9.

They might have to DH him or put him in the field a couple times to keep him sane.

how many at bats before Miley gets pulled? He really needs to get out of this major slump that he's in. Astros need him for the playoffs but if he gets yanked again before the first inning is over, then he might as well pack his bags for the playoffs...

I'm not crazy about resting so many starters. Having the home field against the Dodgers is a pretty big deal.

They have 4 games left and only need 2 of them with Verlander and Cole starting their last 2 games. And that's assuming the Dodgers sweep their series in San Fran which is no guarantee.

The Astros would have to try to blow this.

Waiting to hear if Alvarez is hurt. I thought he was playing left today.

Astros only scored 6 total runs in Seattle, watch this lineup score more than that tonight. When everything is clinched by Sunday, that'll be an interesting lineup. We may see Stubbs in left field, Tucker at 1st, and Straw at 2nd.

Can the Astros go anywhere in the playoffs with their strong bats, but sh*t pitching they have?

We all know things tighten up when the games truly count. And a lot of times good pitching can dominate a strong lineup.

Weird lineup. Does Hinch think we’ve already clinched?

Gotta love Bregs, you can’t get him out of the lineup.
