    Toronto
    Philly
    Bucks

    And te team people are sleeping on the Detroit Pistons. They are going to be better with coach Casey in his second season and having Derrick Rose off the bench adds a bit.

    that won't hurt them so much in the reg season, but come playoffs, they probably won't make it past the first or second round.

    I suppose you're right, I was basing it off of their 17-5 record last season without Kawhi. But those wins were mostly against sub-.500 teams and they also don't have Danny Green, another blow to their defense and 3pt shooting.

    i still think they can be a playoff team in the east. but now more than ever depends on the continuing development of siakim/vanvleet. I supposed OG as well who they should be getting back this year

    Toronto? Really?? That team without Kawhi Leonard or Danny Green is MAYBE a 50 win team, with a 3-4 seed being their upside. A first round exit is very possible, and a second round exit is damn near a certainty.

    He didn't actually give up a single cent - he made money by opting in and getting an extra year at $40m+ on the back end.
    Had he opted out and got a max deal , that year wouldn't be included and no team in their right mind was going to give him the $26m he earned in that opt in year AFTER his current contract ends.

    The Cs are gonna be really good. Or truly ‘broken up’. I believe Kenna is THE fit for them.

    Brown & Tatum. Heywood. Questions. But could be answers.

    Toronto will be a top team in the East.
    Siakam will improve even more; as will VanVleet which will offset Lowry’s decline.
    OG could make up for Danny Green’s absence and while he is a year older, they have Gasol for the full season.

    They will be a number 2 seed, 3rd at worst, while the rest of the conference tries to get use to their new players, and could still win a round or two in the playoffs.

    Toronto has been in the top three seeds since the 15-16 season and on 2014 they got 4th place. I guess people forget how good the raptors were without Kawhi. The previous season without him they got the first seed and they pretty much got the same number of wins this season as last season. So Kawhi just helped them get over the bump. Plus they didn’t have Lebron on the East to mind block them from going farther.
    they will be probably 2nd or top 4 seed this coming season.

    werent they like 17-4 when kawhi rested ? and most of those games were probably without gasol.

    they also now have championship and some quality young players who could make another leap. they will be a top 4 seed with health.

    They play defense and I think Siakam is going to seriously go off this season.
