Thanks for the props Plow. Rosolian made pretty long rebuttal earlier today about how worthless Ryno is. I can't wait to hear from him. Thanks again.
Ah I still remember rhyno vs the thrashbin https://www.google.com/amp/s/ftw.us...mb-injury-tom-glavine-sammy-sosa-sneezing/amp
Unexpected I'm not going to lie. I trust him in the regular season (or the Ryno I remember) but if teams go small. You just can't leave him out there in the playoffs
Close to what I would say. Personally I would think something more like this: PG: Westbrook (32), Harden (6), Rivers (10) SG: Harden (30), Gordon (18), SF: Gordon (12), House (10) Sefolosha (12) PF: Tucker (28), Anderson (10) House (10) C: Capela (30), Nene/Chandler (14) Tucker (4) Depth: Green, Bennett, Hartenstein, Clark. With Sefolosha, House, and now Ryno back in the mix, I think Green might be phased out of the regular rotation. Clark hasn't shown the ability to consistently shoot the 3 yet, and Hartenstein is still a work in progress. Nene and Chandler will share minutes at backup center depending on the matchup, whether one of the guys is resting on B2B etc. However, if any one of the Harden, Westbrook, Gordon, Rivers, or Sefolosha is injured, Green will get legit minutes. If any of the PF/C are hurt, then Clark or Hartenstein can fill in the void. It's nice to have NBA calibre (sort of) rotation players as depth pieces instead of having to play total undrafted rookies major minutes when our lineup isn't fully healthy. A luxury we might actually have this season.
Tillman is right. This team's window is just this year because Harden and Westbrook are surrounded by past their prime geriatrics.
Waiting for this guy to Veto the signing and demand Tailman/Darnel pay Ryno double what Beard is making.... ....... ....... .......
I admire Morey for going back to a player he gave so much to get rid of. Most GMs wouldn't have the confidence to even entertain the suggestion. It may be like a dog returning to its vomit, but maybe Anderson returning here can really useful? Taking the load off PJ is a plus. If his shot returns, that's even better. He should get great looks, in any event. Doesn't say a lot for how well Hart's developing though.
You want to be the team that pays ryan anderson 1 million not 20 million. Morey made it happen, parsons style.
well that pretty much means no chris clemmons. Bright side of the offseason is clearly the House signing IMO
We must see different things when watching the game. I see our big diving for loose balls and playing with all he has while you see an oaf humbling through sets. I see a 7 footer stay in front of smaller players because he gets switched out there and then boxes out on rebounds. Where the players end up on switches is about coaching. We just see different things when watching the same thing.
I was a huge get ryno out of town guy his initial stint here....I like this move. He can just come in in spots and play free without the massive pressure of his albatross contract. At best he’s hitting shots, playing within himself, providing vet leadership and maybe making some hustle plays. At worst he’s a complete liability and you sit or cut his ass without much concern. At this contract I’m with it.
This is a great signing for the regular season. He probably plays non in playoffs but he will help keep PJs minutes down.
This guy WAS an elite shooter. IF he can recapture some of that shooting magic and the contract is right, why not?
