    I don’t know man I hate to even say this because I love JV but I’m starting to wonder if dealing JV isn’t going to be an option to keep Cole. I feel dirty for even suggesting it.

    Milone has pretty well owned us this year, tonight is nothing new. 4 games before tonight: 19.1 IP, .188/ .250/ .362, .879 WHIP

    Cole or JV.
    God I would hate to lose either of these Cy young quality pitchers this offseason.
    It's like choosing between Ruth and Gherig.

    On a happy note Yanks lose in extra innings.
    We're up 2 in the loss column.
    Which comes out to virtually a 3 game lead since we have the tie-breaker.

    Yanks lost tonite and with CFM going tomo, hopefully Rays can help us and themselves with a 2-games sweep. If we clinch home field advantage throughout the playoff after Friday night game, wonder if AJ would consider resting JV and Cole this weekend.
