No question. So much team speed and we get little value out of it. Never manufacture runs, leave guys stranded, ect..

Trying to be too aggressive? Lack of brain function?

That's multiple runs the Stros, with help from the fans, have left off the board tonight. Nothing excuses your starter going 1+ inning though.

Angels beat the Yankees once last series, so I don't mind ONE loss *total* vs them to finish the season.

Rondon is in a two steps forward, three steps back pattern with his appearences.

I've never seen a team that is so aggresive with so little stolen bases.

Instinct play. Once Stubbs commits to go you can't turn him back around.

On a play behind you, you have to look up at 3B coach. Stop sign should have been up as soon as ball was fielded. No need to turn him around if he sees stop sign as soon ad he rounds second.

Final verdict is in: Rondon is pure trash. Miley is straight garbage.

Neither one should see action in an Astros uniform ever again.

Agreed but that’s not on Pettite. It’s not his fault Altuve is a numbskull who jogs around 2nd only to need to turn it on at 3rd. It’s not his fault when these guys make bone headed plays. It is HIS fault when he sends the wrong guy against the wrong arm but really how often is that? Not often.

Yeah. And if it was just a normal loss I would share your attitude, but last year we clinched on a loss and it was a really sh**ty flavor of bittersweet. Don't want to repeat that. Hope the As win tonight.

Too much hubris leads to the fall. Folks didn't want to clinch last night with an A's loss so we could all prep for it today at home.

Only problem is that the other teams are trying to win too.

We are in trouble come playoffs. Who is our 4th starter. Miley has been just horrible

James, Rondon, Davinski, Peackock have all looked like hot trash out of the pen.

Osuna is .... meh. Doesnt produce enough swing and miss

    Bad signs people.

Yes a disappointing loss but holy cow people it’s not the end of the season for these guys. They’re playing out the stretch and it’s a grind. I just pray for no injuries, clinch the division, gain HFA, set the rotation and send Miley’s ass to the BP

I think we are just worried about some more lingering issues such as the Astros all of a sudden not having a reliable 4th starter when about a month agoz we were absolutely certain that we had 4 very reliable starters.
