I can appreciate their limited days/hours. it's kind of like CFA's 'closed on sundays to make you value more they days they're open' policy, taken to the extreme... I will be having one (w/ a liter-a-cola)

Oh okay thanks good to know... I no longer get the very hottest versions of pad thai or wings or anything that a restaurant offers. kind of grew out of it as an olympic sport. usually the second tier these days, so was thinking hot, but sounds like medium might suffice if that big a jump from mild to medium. I take it mild is still north of CFA's spicy at least, then a big jump to med? And doesn't look like any of the breasts are too "wet" in review photos, so the answer to my question I think must be hotter sauce, not just more of the same sauce as you go up.

It's their rub they put on the chicken that makes it hot. The Xtra Hot made my stomach a bit funny the next morning. Probably should do Hot going forward. The cole slaw should help with the hotness and having milk on hand is wonders

Go to KFC ask for two slices of bread. Order the nashville hot wings or whatever. Put the hotwings in between the two slices of bread. And then you die. of happiness. Don't knock till you try it CF.

Kfc has the Nashville hot chicken littles which are pretty good if you’re lucky. I used to get them a lot but got tired of getting burned by Kfc’s shitty quality control.

Never been to Gordough's? They don't use glazed donuts as buns, unfortunately.

I had the chicken and donut sandwich from Lee's Fried Chicken and Donuts and thought it was amazing.

^I hate donut burgers, but must pair much better with fried chicken I'd imagine.

The Wendy's 99 cent Texas Double Cheese Burgers were the best for 99 cents.

I like a good donut. Do we have a donut thread? Hell, we seem to be getting threads about every other food product in Texas. Central Texas, as it is with BBQ, has an excellent donut sub-culture, joined at the hip with good coffee, just as BBQ could arguably be said to be joined at the hip with good beer and ale.

Chicken sandwiches? Maybe I'm missing something. They don't register highly on my personal pleasure index.

I'm just going to say voodoo donuts is the bomb for crazy donuts (hurts is good too), but normal donuts go to Shipleys FTW.

One of the greatest moments of my life was when I grabbed two Shipley's donuts on the way to Whataburger. Ordered my favorite burger, tossed the regular buns in the garbage, slapped those glazed bad boys on my burger and... nirvana.

I'll definitely try this sandwich if I get the chance.
