Twitter removed this tweet... at the least this guy should get down on his knees and beg forgiveness. More to the point he should be voted out.

I only saw about half of last night. I really don’t understand why Kamala just can’t seem to take off cause she kills it at times. The best moment of the night for me was bringing a stop to the nonsense back and forth tit for tat on healthcare to focus on Trump suing to try and throw off 10 million people and eliminate pre-existing conditions. That should be the first and the last thing any Democrats talks about when they debate healthcare. Big points on my board for her continuing to contrast to Trump.

Warren is sharp as a tack and I think she’s going to play much better in the Rust Belt than people think. All Trump has to go after is the Pocahontas crap which really doesn’t work if Warren doesn’t allow it. If they just talk nonstop about “socialism” I see her being able to destroy that argument pretty easily.

I keep thinking about how the Trump folks kept on telling the media they hope it’s Warren. I think that’s a classic careful what you wish for sentiment, but I could be wrong. For whatever reason Americans are weird and they just like who they like. Either way, the contrast between these 10 and Trump is pretty extraordinary. Highlighting that on the debate stage should be top priority.

I've met Klobuchar before and it seems like she's been exaggerating her accent recently. It might be a subtle play to emphasize how Midwest she is.

    Debates are awful.

Why we can’t evolve past a society that wants to pick leaders based on their debate format skills and appearance is beyond me.

Castro lost because he might have been mean!
Vote Kamala because she can get some good zingers in!
Say no to Joe because he stammers!
Andrew Yang isn’t serious because he told a joke and doesn’t speak loud enough!
Mayor Pete FTW because he told people to play nicely!

It’s all so shallow. We suck at picking leaders

Buttigieg: Presidential debates are becoming unwatchable

    https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/vide...l-debates-are-becoming-unwatchable/vp-AAHdvZn

This is so true on what he stated and I think Castro is full of it and trying to do a Kamala Harris by attacking Biden.

People want to hear about the policies and issues and what are you going to do..

    Things that I did like..

    1. Biden poking holes into Warren's plan.. He did it by asking How? which is a good ques? He didn't say it wasn't a good ideal, but let's think about how it can work. Come up with solutions as a group and a team and stop trying to be superheros...

    2. Corey when he stated I like this person plan and this idea... I like the openeness

Give me a President and a congress that is going to be open to all sides and all people. You're working for the people and not for yourself. There are great ideas on both sides of the aisle and this Left and Right BS is helping no one, just dividing us all.

I could really give a Rats ASS if the President is Republican or Democrat.. I care about coming up with solutions to help us all and not there freaking party.

In the military, we may harass and talk crap about each other during peace time.. But when it comes to non-peace time we are ONE UNIT!!!.. I'm Air Force, but I guarantee you all the other branches are my brothers and I will do all that I can to help, protect, and fight with my brother...

I wonder what events have happened since last year that could have changed his mind.

I think these debates are causing more harm than good.

Nobody is distinguishing themselves and the only way you make any is to come up with the line of the night.

i would table debates until the primaries whittle down the candidates.

Biden is falling apart right before our eyes. His dentures got dislodged at one point last night! About half of what he said was incoherent mumblings and totally unintelligible. But his answer for correcting decades of racial inequality? To turn on the record player. THE RECORD PLAYER. Biden had his day... now it's time to go sit in a rocking chair. He's a shell of his former self. Physically and mentally he's incapable of the grind needed to run for President. And it's only going to get worse.

    GOOD DAY

Once the candidate is picked, nobody will remember a thing about any of these debates. Most people already don't remember anything about the first debate.

Long form one on one interviews in a one week span for each of the top 10 candidates would be much better.

I'm not even a fan of Joe Rogan but his interviews with the few DNC candidates have been the most insightful than any other medium especially these debates.

Deep down I think Warren and Sanders really believe Medicare for all is the answer to our broken healthcare system. So does my wife. For non-altruistic reasons, I posed this question to her -- we are already getting fairly good health insurance from my employer (free, no premiums, just deductibles). Why should I pay more in taxes for something I'm already receiving nearly free of any major costs? She said you pay one way or the other.

So...if someone like me, who votes Democrat 9 out 10 times, has reservations under the Medicare for all approach, how would the rest of the 145 million people would feel if their employer-based health insurance were to be sacked?

Wouldn't Warren and Sanders be better served by offering a public option? Let people choose their own healthcare.

The debates are watchable for those that care about entertainment, gotchas, soundbites and confirmation bias. The media hypes these debates up for those same reasons. This has been true for a very long time.

The debates are less watchable (or even unwatchable) for those that are actually taking this election seriously. The format is outdated, especially for people in their 40s and younger. There isn't much actual "debating". It's almost impossible to have any real substantive and insightful commentary on any subject with so many candidates on stage and with such restrictive rules. The MSM networks hosting these debates (along with the DNC) are biased and likely have their own preferred candidate(s). People would learn far more about candidates like Bernie, Yang, etc by watching their Rogan podcasts.

True. Klobuchar is decent, but she comes across as the center-left version of 2016's John Kasich. Just too bland and uninspiring.

TV is entertainment. That is as true for news, opinion shows, political debates, sports, fashion documentaries, or whatever. If people would approach these televised events with that perspective in mind, they would probably feel better afterwards about what they just got through watching.

I didn’t watch this debate because i figure there is nothing new to learn from it. You get much more real info from podcasts or extended interviews with the candidates.

You are spot on. Sad reflection of society.
