While bribing politicians to remove heathcare coverage protections for millions of Americans leaving them bankrupt because they decided to have their cancer appear again but now are over the cap and have to file for bankruptcy for out of coverage bills?

    Nah...

Likely the limit of his charitable contributions tax deductions.

He was a garbage human being, the world is now a better place.

Liberals - a beacon of tolerance...unless you have a different opinion than them!

Nothing to do with his opinions, it was his actions.

If only that was the case.

Some viewpoints, some ideologies, don't deserve tolerance. They are inherently destructive. The idea that climate change is fake is one of those ideologies. If he were just some rando holding that opinion then we can just label him as an idiot and move on...but he was a huge part of creating this army of conservatives to deny scientific consensus outright and if it weren't for him and his brother we would have likely made some pretty big strides against climate change. That's the reality of the situation here.

This is Koch's legacy. I hope Charles sees that people will spit on his 'legacy' in the end and that history will see them as villains.

The dead don't always deserve respect. What you do in life gets that. I didn't go to sleep last night wishing he'd die but I'm sure not sad about it. I doubt anyone here actually hoped for his death...but if you expect me to give him any respect, no.

We don't know that he definitely will
If you don't want your grave danced on, maybe don't be evil, greedy and counter to life on the Planet when you're alive.

The Koch's opposition to Climate Change Science wasn't an 'opinion', it's pretty clear they understood the trends and its consequences. But they financed an active campaign of misinformation anyway in pursuit of outrageous personal wealth.

None of the affected people could touch him in today's political climate, no matter the righteousnesss of their position, so his death is a release of tension. The glee and endorphins are a natural human response..

News flash: David Koch was a human being. Even horrible people are capable of doing good things and good people of doing terrible things.

The Koch’s continual funding of dark money politics to deny climate change among other terrible enterprises that he rarely had to put his brand name on will be what he’s known for, but as a complex human, he’ll likely have some good deeds he funded and you have to look at his calculations as a businessman to realize this was a pretty successful person.

Am I glad he’s dead... probably not. I’m sure his sons will continue funding dark money politics and potentially do deeper damage to the environment and our system of government to line their pockets. Nobody should dance on graves.

Hitler dying... his power to destroy lives dies with him. A good thing.
Bin Laden dying... his power to plan terrorist attacks dies with him... a good thing.

David Koch dying.... his money just passed down to his mouth breather sons who will probably fund worse campaigns on destroying the planet and our democracy... society gained little refuge from his death. Not something to applaud.

Nero built huge public baths for all of Rome.

I would rather David have spent that $150 million complying with saftey regulations that he outright committed fraud to avoid resulting in deaths. Hitler built some pretty sweet hospitals with that sweet, sweet confiscated Jewish wealth. Philanthropist of the century?

Spending a relative pittance to try to rehab your image is an American classic, which is why the names of JP Morgan and Andrew Carnegie, and Cornealius Vanderbilt live on from the age of robber barons. I'm almost afraid to ask if you think those were good people, because you might think they were.

What a bunch of FAKE ASSED whataboutism.

LOL - at small thinkers like you trying to paint with a broad brush and failing.

Screw Koch, the world is better off with him dead, his brother should go soon too, and the world would be MUCH better off if Trump went ASAP as well as McConnell - we have too many greedy assholes screwing up this planet with their chase of money.

Fake Christians who worship money - over humanity - let's call em out for what they are - a cancer on humanity.

Nah, just those that are screwing everyone else over - the world would be a better place without them in it. People who steal from the poor, lie to the ignorant, and are killing our democracy, yep, better off dead.

Don't be so PC, snowflake......this is what you wanted when you voted for that ******* Trump......stop being a racist ass yourself and do something selfless for someone that doesn't benefit you.
