Curious to hear the takes here. Social media is like 90% supporting the guy who opens the train and delivers the beating.

Spitting on anyone gives them release to beat your ass
unless it is some how your job to not respond or something

At first, I thought the beatdown was a little excessive with him beating his head into the ground, but then I was like nah. The dood had to come back around and spit in his face again. I woulda did without the kick though.

So, if it's a 'particular person' like this then it's cool...if it was a cop then nah...police brutality?

My first moments in the NOLA French Quarter during Mardi Gras 1996 I witnessed a gimp being lead around, on a chain and spat on by anyone and everyone. Welcome to New Orleans hunny!

He spit in his face TWO times. And he only did it because he thought the other guy couldn't get out of the train.

I view a spit in the face as an assault. You don't know what's in that spit.

Wtf...a cop should never do what this guy did. A cop is definitely within his right to arrest a jackass that spits in his face though.

Dude thought he was so safe when the door was closing, lol. I'm okay with it morally, but I'm guessing legally both should face some sort of prosecution.

What I'm saying is if we're okay with this level of behavior from someone, we should be just fine with cops doing the same thing.

For the record, I'm not okay with either this dude or a cop doing it.

It's crazy that ya'll are literally like "oh hell yeah! He deserves it!!!" Hell, I'd be pissed but literally you wash your face and it's like it never happened. It's saliva...fractured bones and possible brain damage isn't deserved. But that's me. I suppose you believe justice was done?

I can't say he did or didn't deserve brain damage, zero sympathy though.

As a man, yes though he went too far, but that's my caveman street justice moral code. I'm not highly evolved and consider getting spit in the face as an offense that requires retribution. That said, I understand that legally, both are in the wrong and deserve legal punishment.

The commentary is what makes this such an interesting video. If someone spits on me though, what do I care. It's just spit. You have to let that go. The revenge is because you felt he's one up on you and disrespected you. But that feeling will only last a day. Move on.
