Maybe this help - The parties that were known or suspected of having questions provided ahead of time aren’t part of these debates. It’s also strange that you are suggesting Fox News, Trump and Clinton are on the same political team.
Finally, an event other than a high school musical where the # of people onstage will outnumber those in the audience.
uhm... .. . CNN is the one who got caught red handed last democratic primary cycle debate giving out their questions ahead of time to favor a candidate. Last I checked this is a CNN debate and a Democratic primary cycle debate at that. On the surface that is not good. Neither of the three you mentioned gave out their questions. Clinton did take them though. Now don't get your feathers ruffled. I'm just pointing out facts. Also, don't think I'm defending Fox News either...they recently hired the woman who gave those questions out early ahead of time to Clinton. politics lolz. I do find it funny that CLinton apparently didn't even have the confidence to out debate Bernie Sanders though. She just had to cheat. She had to get those Q's in advance.
I'd rather see the heavy-hitters in the primetime debate, and the randos in an undercard. The serious candidates can rise to the top in the secondary debate and join the main stage. Otherwise, they get chopped (and that's a good thing for everyone's sanity).
Or glade that they have the stage to themselves? I rather a mix to give the underdogs a chance. I'm glad to see the split, but it's still too many candidates for each day. No idea what format they have, but I would like to see to some type of round-robin Q/A.
So 4 of the 5 highest pollers ended up in one debate...I thought they were trying not to do this. Be interesting to see how Warren treats this since she’s the highest poller in the “JV” event. Could go really well for her as she’ll have her time in the spotlight...or she could get lost in the shuffle against a lot of dead weight. But, the other one should be entertaining as Buttigieg and Harris will be gunning for Biden and Sanders knowing they have a great chance to make up ground

Google Donna Brazile, CNN, and debate questions. And realize how frequently and easily this can happen with any outlet, any group, and any politician. It was just a fun question jabbing at the current state of our political affairs across both isles.
