    Rockets just want to be relevant when the Warriors are playing. Next warriors game, rockets have stalled talks with MDA.

    I guess they're just not on the same page in terms of years, Mike really wants that 3 year extension while the Rockets are taking a cautious approach.

    Shouldnt be more than an 1-2 year extension. He has taken us to one WCF and a Semis exit. Zero coaching in the playoffs

    While the discussion is reopened, the two sides aren't close to finalizing a deal yet.

    "Nothing has changed," LaGarie said. "That is the offer, but it is not one we are willing to take."

    While the buyout was an important piece, it wasn't the only issue with the original offer.

    LaGarie said D'Antoni is worth more than what he's being offered.

    The Rockets' base salary offer of $5 million is shy of other recent contracts for veteran coaches.

    "They know our position, so now it's up to them," LaGarie said.

    Not that I'm team Tilman or anything .... but this agent sounds like a piece of work

    They basically doubled the guarantee and he's like "nothing changed"
