Best cornerback available, one that can press. (we really need that) and a guard, preferably one that played RB and moonlighted as a kicker/ punter in the 8th grade A team.
Ya I like Risner a lot but would be fine with any of the top 4 OL left. I wasn't a big proponent for trading up but if we can throw in a mid-late rounder to move up and get Risner, Ford or Taylor, I hope Gaine can make something happen.
There is a plethora of riches to choose from, hard to pick a name till you see who is taken above. But Lance's Risner and Bunting look good. I don't see Love on his list (there he is at 66??) I'd like Isaiah Johnson at 89... could be a super special teamer. You could also have Sternberger (though we have 4 TE now) or Isabella for the oft injured Coutee. (don't see a RB value at 89)
might sound silly or unrealistic at this point, but i'd just prefer to draft BPA and see if we can nab Chris Harris or pry Pat Peterson away. I don't know much about the CBs left, but I doubt any will be able to hit the ground running with the offenses we're set to face next season.
Seen that’s a big possibility. If we still get a good OT and CB while adding a 3rd(?) is be ok with it
I think you need the 2 #2's to add good players to the team depth. The probability for drafting starters drops off a lot after the 2's. Maybe down a couple of spots to add a #4 though. That would give you a pick to add a RB like Trayveon Williams or Benny Snell.
Trade one of the picks for Cliff Harris, Jr. The CBs in this draft are terrible. Take another OT (one who can play) with the second one.
Here's the top rated round 2's on ESPN starting at #20 (52) just take your top rated at your pick: (oops a Center snuck in there) 20 Joejuan WilliamsVanderbilt CB 21 Elgton JenkinsMississippi State C 22 Chauncey Gardner-JohnsonFlorida S 23 Justin LayneMichigan State CB 24 Julian LoveNotre Dame CB 25 Lonnie Johnson Jr.Kentucky CB
The Texans are not deep at WR or RB and if either of AJ Brown or Miles Sanders is there I can see a pick of one of these.
