I think dems definitely should let this go at this point, but what I find even more appalling is the justification of Trump's now documented behavior that a lot of his supporters repeatedly justify and are ok with.

Is this all worth compromising your own moral compass? He asked his people to lie and commit perjury, the only reason he didn't get screwed is that they refused...

@MojoMan , @Commodore , (well I'll leave our cojete he lacks the intelligence to answer) is this how you would raise your kids?

His supporters would justify him becoming King of America and implementing genocidal policies. So nothing should come as a surprise.

2020: Trump’s Culture of Lying. Dems need to hit the GOP over and over with this. Sarah Sanders had to admit she lied to Mueller in the report.... her response:

Politico: Sarah Huckabee Sanders stands by 'sentiment' of misleading comments revealed in Mueller Report

When confronted that you lied, double down on it! That’s the Trump administration way!

I felt like it was the truth , or I wanted it to be the truth ...

Lucky for him his ineptitude and lack of real leadership skills saved his crooked hide. His subordinates just did not carry out his orders. SAD.

What's strange is watching Trump's supporters and defenders on this website struggling to reassure themselves that Trump's presidency isn't pure trash after this report. It is very strange. They choose to ignore so much of what was written in the report. I still have more to read. I'm only on page 97 right now.

But what Trump did is horrible. What's worse is that he attempted to do even more. He tried to have Mueller removed. He tried to order Sessions to restrict the investigation. The list goes on and on.

As I read I keep going back to the Trump supporters who ask "If there was no crime, what was there to obstruct? There is no way it could be obstruction." Yet in the report, Trump not only felt this investigation would end his presidency, but he was also, indeed, ordering his subordinates to lie and obstruct justice in multiple ways. Mueller makes it clear that because of the DoJ policy to not indict a sitting president he wasn't going to recommend that.

So the Trump defenders who are asking those questions and putting forward that since 'no crime was committed' that it is impossible to obstruct justice need to ask Donald Trump that question. Then should ask themselves, "If there was no wrongdoing there, why was Donald going to such extreme and criminal actions in order to obstruct?"

Exactly. Every horrible thing that has been previously reported, yet dismissed as "fake news" has now been corroborated as fact. Under oath.

Wolf's "Fire & Fury" was on the money.
