How does in the trenches keep surviving?

 

It's so bad that I listen to In The Loop instead until noon. They should ditch that show and have Matt Thomas on from 10-2.

 

The a team?

Don’t you need more guys with the name that starts with A to have a team?

 

When it first came on, I was on board. It was fine. But it progressively worse and worse. Why is it still on? It targets the 50 to 110 year old demographics, and it probably hits with them. Have you heard all the callers? They sound like old people.

 

That is pretty much all of sports talk radio. All the commercial are ED, TRT, DUI, or divorce.

 

Clanton back to being an over the top homer until he tweets someone at ESPN and gets fired. again

 

now if only 610 would get rid of Lopez

I could tell in his brief time @ 610 he was able to speak more honesty about the Rockets vs his past @ 790. Just hope he's learned some lesson in his time away and won't get into nasty Twitter battles, again...

Agreed. Nothing worse than listening to Greg Koch read a complete box score on air just to get basketball talk in.

 

Pretty much all the sports station in houston talk texans 95% of time 24/7/365, the astros get some attention, and I wonder if the rockets even play in houston. Charlie talks some rockets. Ross and Micheal talked a little bit.

 

That’s why I like Matt Thomas. He does his best to not talk Texans unless there’s a good reason to. Most everything else is Rockets and Astros on his show.

 

The only times I've tried to listen to Salisbury he was rambling on incessantly about food each time except for one.

That one he was going on and on about wedding planning.

 

Turns out the other “A” was Wexler.
