Saw it this weekend, I enjoyed it. Malek and the supporting cast is great, story is sanitized and not necessarily true to life.

It kind of fall into a lot of rock biopic cliches but it's still enjoyable, the recreation of performances were extremely well done......

Saw i this weekend. Would've enjoyed it a lot more if my gf didn't have a meltdown because I waved hi to my ex who was taking my son to the movie.

im watching the pacific right now and malek steals the show. you cant take your eyes off him when he is on screen (no homo). i did not initially realize that was the dude who was playing freddie, but i was so impressed with his performance that i looked him up and saw who he was.

SO many things were glossed over or were outright lies in this movie, such a disappointment. Also making it look like the band broke up after Live Aid...us fans are not stupid. We do know that they made another record afterwards. Hollywood is a mess. Horribly directed and written and May left out so many back stories on purpose.

I love Queen and didn’t even finish the movie. I like the lead actor a lot also in the hacker show he is in.

I thought the movie just ended after Live Aid? They definitely show them breaking up before that which never happened and of course they show Freddie telling them his diagnosis which doesn’t happen until way way later. He probably only has suspicions of being positive at that point.

I thought the movie was ok on the first go around but after a second viewing, it’s really just a bad movie. The truth wouldn’t have helped the film either, it just wasn’t put together well.

Malek Co make up for that bad edited scene with Littlefinger.

But in retrospect I enjoyed A Star is born (millionth remake) a tad more.

I enjoyed it. Yes, they fudged with the truth, but that's true of nearly every biopic ever made. It was a trip listening to the music in a theatre with a great sound system. No, it wasn't remotely like seeing them in concert, but it was fun, at least for me.

We're gonna look back in 10 years and laugh at this pic.

How the **** did anything about this film win an Oscar?

I love how people that have never had any success in the field always whine about those that have......

I'm almost positive that I will dislike this movie -- the history of Queen/Freddie are too well known to present as alternate facts. Plus it looks like something the Lifetime Channel would produce.
