Can't remember the guy's name, but I'm assuming the JUCO ILB signed with somebody else today? Arkansas, I think I heard rumored?

Boo, he could have been useful depth at least. Floyd the Freshman needs to step up, he's got a job if he can earn it.

Would still love to see them find a grad transfer RB/OL from somewhere, like last year.

Ya some thought it's also prepping for Naivar for DC if/when Orlando gets a HC gig. Like the move though, Safety play was excellent last year and honestly think Orlando could use some help prepping for Big 12 offenses week after week.

Also, Shane Buechele transferring to SMU. Good luck to him.

Sources: Texas adds Fedora as analyst, Beaty under consideration

AUSTIN, Texas — Former North Carolina head coach Larry Fedora has been hired by Texas head coach Tom Herman as an analyst, a source close to the situation told Horns247 Monday.

Fedora had been spending time around the Longhorns' staff over the last two weeks as Herman looked to expand his staff of football analysts. Sources confirmed to Horns247 that Fedora was present for an all athletic department staff meeting last week, in addition to a meeting with the Texas football staff.

In addition to Fedora, Horns247 has learned former Kansas head coach David Beaty could join the Longhorns' staff as an analyst as well. However, as Horns247 columnist Chip Brown reported last week, Beaty is currently undergoing a contract situation with Kansas that could hold up his availability.

Keep me posted on the UVA grad transfer OG, he sounds like a perfect plug-and-play guy, like Anderson last year

RJ Proctor? If so he's scheduled to visit Ohio State in 2 weeks and has offers from OU and Florida St as well. I see no crystal ball predictions but damn he would be a fantastic get.

My understanding on the latest on the 2019 OL front is we're slow-playing R.J. Proctor (UVA) and Willie Tyler (Iowa Western CC) a bit since we want to see what Jonah Jackson (Rutgers) and Parker Braun (Georgia Tech) decide. But apparently, Proctor enjoyed his visit, and Tyler would have signed this weekend if we had offered.

Still a long way to go but looks like Herman is picking up steam with this 2020 class. Got two commits over the weekend in 4* ATH Mookie Cooper out of Missouri and 4* OL Jaylen Garth. Also sounds like we're sitting pretty with a lot of big time recruits in and out of state.

Lol. UT- Austin backs out and cancels Arizona St game in 2021 so that they can play LaLa.

    Sounds about right.

You don't read so good do you?

The Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns will play at Texas in 2021 and have canceled their game at Arizona State that same season, FBSchedules.com has learned.

Louisiana was scheduled to take on the Arizona State Sun Devils in Tempe on Sept. 4, 2021 and receive a $1.3 million guarantee for the game.

According to a copy of a letter obtained from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette via a state public records request, Louisiana and Arizona State have mutually agreed to cancel their contest. ASU will pay Louisiana $200,000 for the cancellation and the Ragin’ Cajuns will now play Texas as part of the agreement.

Please just stick to the UH hoops and football threads.
