Not sure why everybody wants Knight gone, as if CP isn't injury prone. If Knight balls out I would thinK EG's the one we want traded. I think Knight when healthy is a better asset to our system

I agree with this but I would love to see us keep EG in the starting lineup and if possible let Knight take over as the 6th man

If he can stay healthy that would be peak form for him.

Knight was never known for his Defense, even fully healthy and more athletic.

I feel like whatever is going to happen with Knight will determine the rest of our season. If we keep him it's probably Gordon leaving. If we can ship him out for a wing. If he's terrible then what...

I wish Ariza was coming back. Man I can't wait for this weekend lol

Great attacking the rim and creating his own shot from the perimeter.

Terrible defensively. If you think Harden's "no defense" YouTube vids are bad you need to check out BKnights.

It's not even close who is the better player.

It's like comparing CP3 (Ego) to Darren Collison (BK) who have been team mates.

And Darren Collison to my knowledge did not have that awful injury.

I would think that if knight plays well we will hold on to him until closer to the trade deadline .

    MDA loves playing small
We want to manage CP3 and Hardens minutes .
What better way to do that than to have a solid 4th guard ?

Remember we traded for Lou Williams in 16-17 even though we already had a solid 3 of harden , Gordon , and bev.

I can see us playing small with knight (harden at the 3 ) and using him to give CP3/ James rest games .

His recovery from injury is the biggest question mark. However, Knight was arguably better than Collision before his injury and CP3 is (a top 25 player all time) way better than Gordon. Your comparison has way more variance in quality.

I think Ego to a healthy Knight is like Tyreke Evans to Marvin Williams. Evans (Ego) is slightly better, both were highly touted rookies. Ego was an injury prone combo guard before signing with Houston, where he has flourished. Hopefully we get something from Knight. We need production out of nowhere just to be competitive, and then hopefully we have a move that breaks in our favor to get back to the upper tier.

Perspective is important this year. It is a bad combination of us being bad and everyone in the West getting better. Being 6 games back from 1st in the East would mean fighting for homecourt right now, not being near the bottom.

If he does play and gives us 10 good minutes on offense and passing, it will be good enough for me provided if he doesn't let everyone waltz through him on defense.

Not if you face reality. ACL injuries usually take away some of the player's athleticism. Imagine a player who thrived on his athleticism tries to play another game.

It takes some time to re-adjust and he won't be the same player.

Eric Gordon as a Clipper was going to score 22-23 ppg consistently until he had a series of injury as well.

    • Quick lane penetrator in half-court
    • Good first step
    • inefficient scoring on drives
    • Streaky shooter (think Lou Williams on the Rockets), but overall decent from 3
    • Bad handles (think Jeremy Lin)
    • Poor Pick-and-roll ball handler (high turnovers on P&R)
    • Good in transition
    • Mediocre as spot-up shooter
    • Willing passer, but never a great assist rate for some reason
    • Good size (6'3, 190, 6'6.75 wingspan)
    • Usually a positive offensive impact + negative defensive impact
    • Good work ethic / IQ - 4.0 in college

He has been compared to a younger Jason Terry and I think that's accurate.
