hes shooting 32% from deep as a starter in 9 games

no wonder he's not having fun because that sucks

Well yeah after last night, but my point is still valid. @34% and 20ppg (before last night) you absolutely guard him differently that Ennis, essentially creating more space.

He makes up for his poor defense and turnovers.... and then some. If you're saying he's regressed, check his stats from last season to this season and you'll see he's playing just as well as he was last season..... he's just playing in a much worse team than last season. The only thing he's doing worse in is he averaging 1 more turnover per game and shooting worse from the FT.

Nobody said he was a complete player, so stop acting like he's the sole reason we lose our games. And yes, you have blamed Harden for a lot of our losses this season.

I don't know why you're bringing up Harden's defense now when he's never been a good defender.

To be absolutely fair his defensive numbers(however much anyone believes in them) are down. He’s hovered around being pretty neutral as a defender for a while now and he has dipped slightly into the negative category statistically. Probably could argue that the team overall is making everyone’s numbers worse but it’s hard to say.

Offensively he’s almost a carbon copy of last year aside from the uptick in turnovers.

All that said we’re talking about slight steps down from MVP, all nba 1st team. He hasn’t fallen off a cliff.

He’s still easily gonna be a top 10 MVP candidate and will absolutely make an all nba team with his current production, so the pissing and moaning about Harden does get pretty tiresome.

If people are expecting last seasons version of Harden every single year then I’d say your expectations are a bit high.

I heard Harden is so fat, he doesn't need to defend because the offense can't go around him.

nevermind if hes out of shape he just need to recognise when he is gassed/lethargic and defer to cp 3 in those moments instead of forcing the issue

everyone around him beginning from morey, mda, cp3 are all hot garbage compared to last season

this year harden's def rating is best on the team with cp3 and capela

and his def bpm is next to capela and tucker better than cp3

harden is still putting out an mvp caibre year if not for the cluster **** around him

Hell yeah he is the biggest reason, because he dictates where the ball goes, and whether guys get touches or move off the ball.

Harden is not the same player right now.

Yea, I know, last year I felt like he could literally iso almost anyone and get by them, this year it feels like he's settling alot. But yea you're right, the spacing def could be the biggest reason tbh.

So Harden handles the ball 48 minutes of every game? Does he dictate who bricks shots too? Or who doesn’t box out? Who misses rotations? Your act is old and tired DD. Get some new material, at least your nut riding of scrub players was entertaining.

Can we OFFICIALLY put this to rest now? Not just this thread, but this whole idea?

Whenever Clutchfans overanalyze off-season photos, nothing good ever comes out of it.

Let's have a gentlemen's agreement to be less moronic in 2019.
