...the answer to THAT question might define the next century...

...provided we somehow survive the next couple of years, of course....

I find it fun to read his posts and then go the websites that follow fake Russian twitter accounts and see how nearly identical they are.

Houston is a city of illegal immigrants. Trump can't take that from us!

I'm pretty sure the US Citizenship and Immigration Services didn't remove the phrase "a nation of ILLEGAL immigrants". Read again.

You're right. Just made that addition.

The only problem is when so many people respond to so many of his posts, it makes the threads kinda hard to follow. There are other mass-volume posters who would present the same situation.

The difference between the two are obfuscated on this forum so often that there is no point in distinguishing between the two.

I don't see anyone asking you or making you stay...well, except your bosses, of course.

Do we really think RL lives in Texas or the United States for that manner?

If you are from Houston, I just don't see how you can be on this side of Trumpism. We live our daily lives here ingrained in Mexican culture that is infused with Texas culture. Mexican immigration to Texas, and specifically Houston is a big part of what makes our city amazing.

This is why Trumpism plays better in West Virginia and Ohio. When you actually are a part of the melting pot down here there's just no way to view this issue in such a slanted viewpoint. I guess unless you live in a bubble in the Woodlands, Friendswood, or something.

Just amazing that this Trumpism is having this big effect when the daily lives most of us live tell a completely opposite story.

Reading more, I am made to understand that foreign models usually will come in on H-1B3 or O-1 visas, not EB-1 visas. Even the H1-B3 and O-1 visas require you to demonstrate merit. The difference (aside from how much merit you have to demonstrate) with the EB-1 is that the EB-1 doesn't require an employer to sponsor you.

Locker room talk and shithole talk is good enough for children to listen.

    I'll allow it.

Can we now call this a war on immigration?

“Forty-three years ago, a lot of the Southeast Asian communities and Vietnamese communities fled their countries and their homeland due to the war, which the U.S. was involved in, fleeing for their safety and the safety of their families,” said Kevin Lam, the organizing director of the Asian American Resource Workshop, an advocacy group. “The U.S. would do well to remember that.”

To whoever sent me a "message." This looks like "open bigotry" to me. How a post like RL's can be "cringe worthy," but not worthy of being reported is dishonest, in my humble opinion. If his post isn't bigoted, I must not understand the definition of the word, and I have a pretty good vocabulary. Someone, in my humble opinion, is either bored or doesn't understand how to be a moderator, at least in this case. Again, in my humble opinion and with all due respect.

PS: I took RL off ignore in order to quote his post.
