    Melo loves the mid range game more than CP. Especially the turn around. I wonder how he will adjust in our system.

    If we land him it will deff be interesting

    Time to adjust a little more to CP3 and Melo's strength. Tired legs in the playoffs and 3 point shooting doesn't mix.

    These tweets make no sense. Melo has a no trade clause. There’s nothing to negotiate now because Melo had to approve of what the Hawks would do BEFORE the trade. Also Woj already reported the Hawks are going to waive him. Which makes sense because the last time Melo took less money than he could was never ever.

    He took 5M less to re-up in New York and then Phil Jackson signed

    -Arron Afflalo
    -Derrick Williams
    -Kyle O'Quinn
    -Robin Lopez

    And blamed Melo for the team underachieving at a time when they were actually overachieving.

    He got a NTC from the Knicks which players basically never gets (Harden doesn’t have one). And the most he could’ve made that offseason outside of NY was less than max either in Houston or in Chicago.

    Just because he didn’t get full max from NY didnt mean he left money on the table.

    Thats exactly it means, Phil's quote was "He took less to give us some flexibility down the road"

    The NTC was earned and negotiated and has nothing to do with taking less.
