Nigeria finally making a right move in starting Iheanacho. Hopefully it goes well.

82' Brasil with Zico, Socrates, Falcao, Eder and Junior was something to watch. Defensive lapses did them in, but in my mind, it was one of the best teams ever.

Wonderful goal from Nigeria. You can't say that Iceland hasn't had their chances, especially on set pieces. They've just had some bad bounces near the goal.

Argentina v. Nigeria should be some match. The way Nigeria has played in this game, I wouldn't put past them to advance.

Well, this sets up a crazy Tuesday for group D. Iceland, Nigeria and Argentina all have paths into the round of 16 based on what happens. Argentina has the worst goal differential at the moment, so an Iceland win + an Argentine win by 1 would put Iceland through.

Nigeria never plays consistently, I think Argentina will go through...

Not like Argentina has played consistently so no one can really be sure how that match will go.

Nigeria gave Argentina a heckuva match in 2014 and beat them pre WC but no Messi in that match.

If Sampaoli stays on then Nigeria might have a better chance as most of his players probably won't be feeling it. If they replace him then Argentina just might come out inspired.

Regardless when Nigeria and Argentina meet up, it's almost always entertaining.
This group was the most dangerous and it's turned out to be the most entertaining so far. Lots of drama!

Such a strange World Cup so far. It's great that just about all of the games have been close and down to the wire...but at some point, I want to see some brilliance. The favorites, for the most part, haven't played well.

They’ve all been lackluster so far. I hope Germany returns to their former selves tomorrow.

Players Tribune have been putting out good stuff with some of the players in the World Cup.
This one with Raheem Sterling just might be better than the Lukaku one
