Who are the signed RB"s on the roster right now? I can assure you Bellage and Carter are upgrades over what has been on the roster.

Including Barrios you've increased team speed and the ST'S. Ratley is very underrated . No more WR'S like Thompson Miller the little fast dude that could not catch a cold etc....

Your RBs are not better than Miller and Foreman. If they were, they wouldn't be available for the Rockets to pick. The WRs on the roster are Hopkins, Fuller, Ellington, Braxton, and Coates. You're talking about the 6th and 7th receivers. I'm cool with 1 WR and 1 RB, I'm down for that. But two of each?

    Wow!
Cannot believe you are actually saying that you can't get a really good/great running back in the 3rd round.
You only have to go back to last year 1 pick ahead of our D. Foreman.
    K. Ballage is one of my sleeper picks.
    I really like him.
Matter of fact if we can't get Rashad Penny he's who I want next.
But Penny is the player I want most that's available in this mock.

Could be worse but if we took Sam Hubbard with Rashaad Penny still on the board I'd be livid!!!
    My fav RB after S.Barkley.
    I love Ian Thomas.
He's my #1 sleeper TE and I'd take him over Mark Andrews longterm.
    Great pick there!
I like Jamarco Jones but would probably take Joseph Noteboom over him.
Wouldn't even mind Tim Settle to keep our NT rotation fresh.

    Did I say that though?
I was speaking specifically about the RBs he mentioned; I thought the "Your RBs" gave it away but I guess not. And I would take one RB, not two.

And they are still better than any RB on the roster and any WR not named Hopkins or Fuller.

I get they need another OLB but like I said you can't fix everything in one draft . RS left way too many holes on the roster. So the way I would go is try to protect DW4 and provide him with weapons to succeed. Then next year with a full complement of picks fill in the rest of the roster.

I don't know what to tell you if you really believe that.

You can't fix anything but yet you want to add multiple players at positions where the need isn't as much as others. You make Rick Smith look like genius the way you're talking. Swap Jeff Holland (or Josh Sweat), Nick Nelson, and Cain (or Coutee) and you're all good.

Giving DW4 everything possible to be successful is a bad thing?

I could understand if you thought you were going to win a SB next year. LOL

This draft should be all about DW4. IMHO

Feel free to disagree but the positions of need can be filled if Gaine does what he was hired to do, or if McNair lets him do what he needs to do to bring a championship this city, this draft can be a very successful draft.

If they get three starters and some ST's guys that will be a great draft. IMHO

Sorry if I came in at the end of the convo and misunderstood.
Nontheless one of his backs listed was Kalen Ballage and I do think he is better than L. Miller right now.
And with Foreman there's the whole "if he will come back at all" thing as well.
Not to mention that I'm not sure I'm as high on him (even healthy) long term as most here.
I saw good but am still deciding on "very good" or "special".

And Miller I never saw as anything more than "good" or even just "above average".
I definitely consider RB a "need" in this draft.

I'm 100 per with you on that one coach.
Up until the last couple of days I probably had Freeman just ahead of Ballage in my pecking order but slightly flip-flopped.
At any rate if one is an 84.0 then the other's an 83.9.
    They're both really good.

Another thing they have in common is that they have each had an injury so their tape last year wasn't quite as good as 2 years ago.
That's why I'm hoping we can get one late if we don't get Penny (my 1st choice).

One more rb I'm warming to the thought of here is Kerryon Johnson.
His hard running slashing style reminds me of the rb Deshaun had at Clemson.
Can't remember the name but he seemed to work well with DW there so maybe Kerryon might here as well.

So Baker Mayfield at #1? That's what it sounds like.

I kind of think that's a smoke screen of sorts. I can't see them not going with Darnold. I think Baker will be a good enough QB but given the fact that nearly all the rumors over the last month have pointed toward Darnold, I would think the "Baker to go #1" talk is more of a smokescreen than anything. We shall see though.

I’d be pretty happy with that draft. Malik Jefferson and Jessie Bates would give you something to think about though.

I think they should choose Mayfield. That might push Barkeley down to #4.
