[UNOFFICIAL] Texans off-season thread

Jesus the Rams D would be INSANE. Although they need a linebacker after losing Ogletree. Maybe the pick up Cushing as well.

 

If they can add Suh and add Malik Jefferson in the draft. Yikes

 

I like the Texans quiet good offseason, thus far.
need to keep it up with the draft.

 

Disappointing that the Texans don't seem to be interested, my guess is they think this is a deep draft for DB's and will get at least one in the third round.

 

and/or are confident in finding DBs post-draft. DRC, Breaux, Tramon, Breeland, Brice are still unsigned

 

Hes meeting with teams that have cap space (just like Hurns) Jets Browns (the Texans probably already told him what they are willing to pay

 

Not to mention he will be fighting for the #3 spot in Houston. With Hopkins and Fuller are going to get their numbers. If things go like they did last year Hurns would be battling Ellington as the #3 option. Jets have no receivers. Cowboys will have no receivers once they cut Dez.

 

We should really consider Manziel as a back up option. I was skeptical at first but he seems to really be locked in. Rooting for him

 

Funny, I said the same thing when The Texans chose to go with Tom Savage. LOL

 

I really think we need a receiver that can stay healthy (fuller, ellington, Braxton are usually injured)
Hurns is also injury prone. i think we still need another receiver and TE

 

I don't disagree. I just think Hurns is looking to be a #1 or #2.

 

I'm not sure it would be difficult for him to be the #2 here. There's really no one outside of Nuk that can be relied on.

 

Fuller did look pretty good with Deshaun throwing him the ball. Obviously fuller needs a good qb to be used properly but I don’t think we should get Hurns for what he wants just to be in the shuffle at WR. I think TE is more important and we need to figure that out ASAP
