With or without Melo the Rox are still inferior to Gs...I mean be serious Green will eat Melo alive so its not like getting Melo would have been a great change. In fact I'm glad we didn't get Melo. As much as I hate on Anderson, I would rather have him than Melo since Melo costs 7M more and also can become a cancer, at least Anderson is a great team player and the spacing he provides is an asset to the team.
You'll have to explain to me how that's racist. The kid looks disappointed.. just like I felt when I posted it. I think you're race baiting and that you have no actual substance to your statement. I believe you're making a stretch somewhere that isn't reality.
Yes. I'm not a fan of Mello. His defense is far below that of Harden's. His ability to ft in chemistry wise is suspect. It is much easier to cheer for a team without Anthony than a team with Anthony. On another note, anyone saying there is something wrong with the "disappointed" picture posted in this thread, could they please explain themselves? I saw nothing wrong with that at all.
There defense alone is more important with those 2 it's ok that we didn't get melo okc doesn't have a bench so first round lose is going to happen.
I was really bummed out that we didn't get Melo but than I realized how many good FA wil be available next season. Bwsides the fact that Melo more than likely opts out of his deal and we have a chance to get him herebis sole names to look out for LBJ KD (Staying in GS) PG13 Westbrook Cousins DeAndre Jordan Joel Embiid Avery Bradley Wiggins Lamarcus Aldridge Jabari Parker Jokic Nurkic Aarón Gordon Rodney Hood Wilson Chandler Marcus Smart Danny Green I can see us maybe getting a Cousins or LBJ if Melo doesn't come. I know LBJ is a bit far fetched BUT if we can advance in the PO than things can become intriguing especially if we bounce OKC and get to the WCF.
I'd take 60% of Yao Ming for a 2nd rounder anyday! Let's just hope weight somehow correlates to Qi's performances.
http://www.espn.com/nba/statistics/rpm/_/page/2/sort/RPM Ryan Anderson - 1.51 RPM, 6.46 wins Carmelo Anthony - 0.12 RPM, 5.26 wins We were trading for the inferior player. We should be glad this didn't go down, especially considering that Ryno is a better team player and is totally fine just spacing the floor. We can also trade for a much better player during the year since we'd be more likely to include other pieces like Capela. For example: DeMarcus Cousins - 4.20 RPM, 11.26 wins
