GSW been to the finals 3 years in a row. What does that say about the west. Of course the east is the inferior to the west, but their were and are teams that hold their own. TOR recent roster was built to beat CLE but not good enough.

Toronto wouldnt get past last years Memphis or the LAC in the west lol. This is when metrics backfire. The east has been a cakewalk for Lebron with his team being CLEARLY stacked.

5 beats 3, with no superteams & against harder competition

Except, as I already demonstrated, Kobe did play on superteams. If the second best guy on the team (Kobe during the Shaq years) is a guy you think is better than Lebron James, who is universally recognized as an all-time top 10 player, that is clearly a stacked team. In fact, if what you say is true, it was more stacked than any other team in the history of the league with the possible exception of the Magic/Kareem Lakers. No other team has had two top players as good as Shaq and how good you think Kobe was.

How do you know this? TOR won both matchups against MEM and LAC in 2016. If they played each other in the playoffs, anything could happen. It's not a guarantee that LAC or MEM would beat TOR in 7 games

End thread. The irony of saying someone else had a stacked team when the only person in the convo to play with another top 10 player ever is Kobe.

Why is this thread still alive? Only true blue kobe die hard fans like hakeemtheking will say Kobe>Lebron and there is no convincing guys like him. The dude keeps saying Kobe didn't play on a stacked team when 60% of his rings came with Shaq who is one of the best players ever and the remaining 20% came from another superstar in Gasol and a really good cadre of role players. Kobe played on such weak teams and had no help he shot below 40% for a series and still won a ring, thats how little help he had

Every human being has his own free will, conviction and tendency to be stubborn despite all evidence to the contrary. Lebron can get 30 rings in the future and this dude will still say Kobe on top lmao. I bet there are still people somewhere who think Elvis is still alive and he just became a super secret agent.

He doesn't know anything, all he knows is Kobe is god. Almost every poster here has been arguing with him and not once has he put up any sort of link or stats to back up any of the **** he makes up. Dude just keeps grasping at straws he'd say the sun is ice cold if he thinks it'd help his case.

Remember when JVG was openly comparing Kobe to John Starks in a Game 7 of the Finals and Kobe's team still won? Man, that guy had no help at all!

For those using the West > East argument, I wonder.....

We all know the West has had better management, drafting, and luck in some instances with respect to injuries... So if LeBron was on a Western Conference team, wouldn't it be safe to assume that he'd more than likely be on a franchise that could assemble a team with a second best player that was superior to a washed up Larry Hughes or Mo Williams?
