    Yes, yes, yes

A superstar in a bad organization with a culture of losing will make a player look bad. Melo will come here and be the best 2nd option in the league. When Harden decides to quit again, we'll be able to depend on Melo to put up points. No more pressure of being the main guy. The Rockets should be all over this.

Trying to imagine the Knicks-iest trade the Knicks could make.

How about Kristaps Porzingis for LaMarcus Aldridge and Tony Parker? Who says no? The Knicks love washed up stars. Too bad Dwight Howard already got traded. He's totally a Knicks type of player at this stage of his career.

He has a no trade clause, he's not leaving until his contract expires

So, that only leaves Cleveland. Either he stays in NY or gets a buyout and heads to Cavs. Up to Phil how he wants this to play out.

If he gets bought out and has to stay in New York, it would be fun to see him sign with Brooklyn... just to jack up Danny Ainge's pick next year.

You know something, with his business interests and his family dynamic, plus he seems content with his Olympic metals so winning isn't a priority. I wouldn't be surprised to see him sign in Brooklyn in two years. I just don't the Knicks buying him out

I would happily trade Ryno for Melo straight up. Maybe add a euro stash in there to sweeten the deal. The Knicks would likely bite the bullet and move on.

Look, I don't see any path to Chris Paul or Paul George this summer. That's the truth. The Rockets are not the preferred destination on any superstar's list. Therefore, we should make the most with what's possible and be realistic about it.

Melo puts another scorer on the floor next to Harden, which is something we haven't been able to do since Harden has been here. Play Melo at the 4 with a small lineup and he becomes your Shawn Marion in D'Antoni's offense. The versatility alone is worth more than what Ryno contributes these days. Plus, Melo gives you better rebounding and is a better interior defender when needed.

This is the most plausible scenario for a strong addition this offseason.

I think it's cheaper for NYX to bailout Jackson instead of Melo!

Today's news about Phil Jackson is a classic example of changing the captain on the Titanic after it's hit the iceberg.
