Not only that, but Miami made him one of the highest paid players in the NBA so it's not as if there is some conspiracy here. I think Miami wishes he was healthy enough to play but they're not going to take a chance on him dropping dead on the court and I don't think Bosh should either. He needs to listen to his doctors and go into broadcasting. There is no motive there for Miami to be holding him back unless they had real concerns about his health.
The source said in early May that Bosh had reached a unique agreement that would purge him from the Heat’s cap before the start of free agency but also give him the opportunity to play again, if he chose, without salary-cap consequences for the Heat. http://www.miamiherald.com/sports/spt-columns-blogs/barry-jackson/article152185067.html
I can see the Rockets going after him if he's actually able to play. Spoiler Just be ready to be ignored for the third time
I see why not, if he can pass his physical then i'm all for it. I'm pretty sure Bosh knows the risks of doing this all and I think his mentality is that, if I'm gonna die, I'm gonna die doing what I love.
Hmmmm...a four that can protect the rim, finish at the rim, shoot threes, has a championship mentality, and a huge chip on his shoulder to punk Riley?? That would've been nice to have this postseason. As someone who has personally seen someone die on the court (granted he was 70 in a rec league), it's terrifying. HOWEVER, he loved basketball and his wife always says she was happy that's how he went. It's his choice and if he's cleared, why the heck not.
I'm sure the Rockets could get plenty of people to show up to the games in suits and not play and many who would be MUCH cheaper than Bosh.
Wait wait only harden can transform to super saiyan beard 3 The rest not allowed, even a sensu beam to replenish his dino self ...
I'm sure whatever deal he signs with whatever team he goes to IF he comes back will be one or a combination of - 1 year deal, cheap or non guaranteed. I could see him signing a deal similar to what Dmo did with the Nets, where it's non guaranteed every year while also contingent on him getting checkups, bonuses if he plays a certain amount of games/minutes etc. Point is, if he comes back, it will likely be a very team friendly deal for whoever gets him. So I wouldn't worry about getting stuck with him if he gets injured or can't play due to his condition again.
What are his top choices? Imo this is the top 3 in order. 1. Cleveland Pros- Obvious connection with LeBron and ring chasing. Cons- Lack of earning power, likely a vet minimum deal. Lack of a big role, more likely to be in the Frye role. 2. Houston Pros- Constant interest shown by team and almost signed here before. More likely defined prominent role. Could be a starter. Can make decent money. Cons- Not a true contender yet. 3. Toronto Pros- Could have a defined role with decent playing time. Return home to his first team, ala lebron. Looks like a raptor, why not be one? Cons- Not a lot of money. Not a true contender yet. Dark horse - Dallas Pros- Returns home where he was born. Has a defined prominent role. Could mentor young players and transition into the sunset. Cons- Dallas sucks major ass in every sense. Fuxk @swyyyguy
Man, this is crazy. I would not want people to experience what happened to Hank Gathers on national television in a Rockets uniform. For the good of him I say he should just keep to broadcasting.
Looks like he might actually make a comeback as soon as next year... http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...-spots-for-chris-bosh-in-2017-nba-free-agency
nah, this is not about basketball, anything which is related to life and death, you don't mess around
