A more important point though is you continue to harp on Floyd’s previous offenses as some excuse for his murder which is really vile. Perhaps if police were defunded in favor of more drug treatment then George Floyd would not have felt a need to steal to support a drug habit. It's bad to be greedy if you're rich and good at it, but if you're a poor person then it's OK to be greedy and steal **** and then burn down the house of someone better at the game than you. If you're the middle class, and you side with the poor people stealing things, it's largely not because you love poor people, but because you hate people richer than you.
Because private property exists and people have a right to it? It's not their personal job to fix poverty in St. Louis. I'll tell you what... run the rich out of the area and just wait and see what happens to an already struggling city.

They were marching towards the Mayor's house. Doesn't appear they did much more than walk down the sidewalk (which I'm pretty surprised to see on a private road). Personally, if I wanted to protect myself from protesters, I wouldn't go outside and start pointing my gun at them. Kind of seems like the kind of thing that would suddenly make you a target.

I am curious, is it a single home within that gate or a multi home area inside the gate? The reason I ask is the sign is worded oddly. Was the gate locked or was it open? Supposedly the homeowners wife did not want him to go outside for the very reason you state. However I am sure it was scary to him to have a large group of protesters on his property and he felt they could breech his home.
Absolutely.... and likewise if you were a minority in poverty, you likely wouldn't be all that sympathetic to the couple with guns pulled on the front lawn of their estate. That is part of the problem..... both sides have strong and compelling opinions.... It is only a matter of time until this is taken to the nicer areas of town if the issues are not addressed.
