This post further proves my point.

Clueless fans parroting nonsense. NBA twitter group think without factual backing.

Half of his offensive possessions are ref baiting? That is the definition of an “I don’t watch the Rockets, but I like to clown on Harden comment” that has zero basis in reality and is EXTREME hyperbole.

10 minute sequences of Harden spam dribbling? He isolates about 14 times a game(out of his 85 touches!)and on his average touch he has the ball for about 5 seconds and dribbles it 5-6 times.

People who live in the real world and fact check before they speak are tired of it.

Portland beat a harden rockets led team in a playoff matchup.

For that matchup, lilliard was better than harden.

Lilliard was signed by adidas before harden if not mistaken!?!?

The harden stat padding and number chasing is harden trying to keep adidas endorsements!

That Portland team was really good. They also had a guy named Lamarcus Aldridge.

    Giannis is Schrödinger's Memba.

He is simultaneously great and terrible (28% shooter), and gets no hate.

Or maybe Giannis is just good, not great, but is also somehow able to steal MVP trophies from the great Harden who is always hated.

Dame is honestly the perfect example of the good vs great comparison. Somehow Harden is the only one criticized for his playoff performances when every other NBA star consistently folded during the Warriors dominant run, and the Rockets were the only real competitive threat. Different expectations for different levels of greatness

Not the right argument. It wasn't LMA that beat us. It was J'Airemy Lin.
Harden was signed with Nike at that time. He was going to re up with them but 200 mill is too much to pass up.

28% shooter? He's one of the most efficient scorers in the league?

Why do you make so many personal insults? You don't personally know me. Stick to debating content and lay off the personal insults. It's a bad look on your part.

Lilliard is on his sixth or seventh shoe version with adidas.

Lilliard advanced deeper in last year's playoffs so lilliard has a higher ranking than harden if you go by games played.

Lmao that’s not even true. Most people who don’t appreciate his game are non hooping chumps that got picked last or never played at all. The rest are haters who see a player that surpassed them in their career.

    LOL, the irony.

Kobe Bryant believes James Harden and the Rockets won't win a championship

I think there really is a ton of truth to this.

The old guard can’t stand seeing someone demolish records they themselves didn’t touch.

The majority of what I call the “NBA Twitter world” never played any real basketball. Hell I think the majority of this vocal world could care less about the actual games that happen. They enjoy the drama, the fashion, the NBA culture, the celebrities at the game, they want to be part of what’s popular but realistically know nothing about the actual game. So they parrot stupid takes. And the sheer volume of these types makes these stupid takes pervasive and widespread.

You hear current or just recently retired guys talk about Harden and they respect the hell out of him.
