Yeah I'm not very good at this I suppose. It came out on a weak opening weekend at #2 but then fell off hard. And most people I know IRL still don't know what it is. But yeah, like I said, I'm not good at this. I guess I don't see many obscure movies.

Someone else mentioned Breakdown, that's a good one. Judgement Night is a movie I'll watch almost every time it's on.
Dredd- the Karl Urban one. Screw Stallone and that adaption. Man from U.N.C.L.E - Henry Cavill as a dapper spy is a befitting role for him.
I don't know if it's obscure, but The Believer (which I think is Ryan Gosling's first starring role) is one of my favorite movies of all time.
Pure - Kiera Knightly - Drama (2002) - Early 2000's British drama Fateless - Drama (2005) - Hungarian Holocaust drama (Daniel Craig makes a cameo as an American soldier at the end)
An Andalusian Dog "Un Chien Andalou" - involved Salvador Dali - thank you Pixies - weirdest thing I've ever seen. Danger Diabolik! - Style over substance - late 60's Italian film Tartakovsky Solaris - morose in the way only Russians can be. No George Clooney, thanks. ...thats off the top of my head.
Don't know how obscure it is since it's got some big-ish names (Adrien Brody, Christina Hendricks, Lucy Liu), but I saw no fanfare at all around Detachment (2012). It only saw a very limited release in theaters, and I saw it like a year later. Liked it a lot.

I seem to remember your great love of Liam Neesen in Cold Pursuit. Did you know that it is a remake of a Norwegian movie with Stellan Skarsgard in the Liam Neesen role?
Yep. Stellan Skarsgard *is* the Scandinavian Liam Neeson. btw, he's going to be Baron Harkonnen in the new Dune movie.
