Very clever with just a regular shirt and covering the logo / not showing any since they weren't sure where he'd end up. Seems they are going street a bit, though EA seems to have a license on official courts so wonder what that is about. I do feel though 2k needs a major overhaul, the game has become way too much and the basics are flawed. You can do all these crazy tricks, but not even pass normally and we're into their 19th installment. Commentary needs a change too, Harlan is getting stale and I cannot stand that midget sidekick.
The problem with the game has always been the whole 2k coins crap and it looks like they aren't going to let go of that. I feel bad for people that like to play myPlayer and myTeam, how much money are you guys spending on this game?
They need to take a year off and do a complete over haul. Too many complaints to list here, but they rush it out every year to cash in. These games could really be done so much better.
They need to get rid of slow-canned animations, and make things far more responsive and quick, so you really feel in control. And yes as someone already mentioned, the micro transactions are such a bummer, and hopefully gamers unite against that BS.
I haven’t bought since 2k12 I believe. Without even playing, I’m sure it’s basically the same game with updated rosters. Canned animations suck. Virtual currency sucks. I really used to love nba games but this product has fallen so far off my radar. Greedy game developers always kill games.

Are there any real alternatives though? I only play it for the MyGM feature. I enjoy it but it is very buggy. Also, it is super annoying that in order for me to buy a team I have to buy coins. So I just never utilize that feature. I actually was just playing it and couldn't get to through the off-season to start because it kept crashing on me. Sometimes I start a game and it does that. Other times it doesn't. I can't find any rhyme nor reason to it.
Honestly Live wasnt that bad last year. It could be a good purchase this year. It has definitely made major strides.
It’s annoyingly as **** but I bought it on the 3 dollar sale for my Xbox one x and my switch. Haven’t played it in the x yet but I’ve been playing it quite a bit on my switch. I don’t worry about all the bullshit but for 3 bucks it’s a good game to pick up when I have a few minutes and put down.
Does it have a GM mode though? It doesn't appear to when I look at the features. You'll laugh but I don't actually play games. I only like to manage teams. I sim through 100% of the games.
Live does not have a good franchise/management mode, no, but maybe this year I guess? You should try Football Manager though if you like soccer, there really is a whole genre of sports management games, not sure if there are any good basketball games one yet though.
