I think that answered that question pretty succinctly. It also made perfectly clear the problem with a lot of the rhetoric on Trump/Wall supporters. It just isn't accurate.
the gofundme fundraiser people have actually built a stretch of wall https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2019/may/27/first-ever-private-border-wall-built-new-mexico/ discussion at: https://hotair.com/archives/2019/05/28/build-wall-actually-builds-wall/
"A private group announced Monday that it has constructed a half-mile wall along a section of the U.S.-Mexico border in New Mexico" Impressive. How many miles do they have to go?
I'd be more interested in the maintenance. Since it's "private" is the government even allowed to touch it without a bond vote. I assume the land it sits on is private land as well.
trump lies, about everything, all of the time... The wall is under construction? Oh really? Judge temporarily blocks Trump's border wall construction plans https://www.foxnews.com/politics/judge-temporarily-blocks-trumps-border-wall-construction-plans
For the past six months I have been learning Spanish. I have immersed myself in several Spanish speaking YouTube. Some of these channels are run by **gulp** Mexicans. If the country weren’t such a shithole, I would consider visiting it sometime. I’ll leave the channels here in case anyone else would like to watch them. https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCRe7SpRNbeGZu60PGs3Awbg https://m.youtube.com/user/LuisitoComunicaa
