Os Trigonum thinks we should all talk in the third person like goretexcoat until the Rockets win the championship and become the Firstest Bestest Team Ever Assembled Ever!

Congrats to celtics for dominating a 8 team not fully integrated league, where players had day jobs that ended at 6pm and then went to the arena for the 7pm tip. Or dominating teams that had key players doing army reserve duty like Elgin Baylor who missed games because he could not get a weekend pass to get to the game.

They didn’t need fancy things like dribbling with both hands or dribbling between your legs.

Ironically 'assembled' means Morey kicking the can until he succeeds with his bench players, and playing the waiting game with House.

Steve only has been on 3-4 teams. And apart from being a coordinator at GSW he didn't win anything

The Rox were designed to beat Golden State with KD and his 10-20 ISO's per game. They were not prepared for the Vinatage Warriors without him in my opinion. Capela played like **** lets not forget. D'Antoni has zero to do with Capela shittin on himself being bullied by Draymond

True dat. The 2019 fanbois are right about Offense, however the 90s featured some toughest D of alltime IMO.

This year’s GSW is probably only the third or fourth best version of the original core.

There are so many great championship teams during history that it makes the OP’s thread title ignorant and too simplistic. Indefinitely almost.

The 90s rockets were able to maintain their margin in the playoffs while the last two years they got a lot worse

Harden would have atleast 2 rings if it wasn’t for warriors. 2015 and 2018

The team's place won't be decided in the short-term, it's only after the Warriors run is said and done can you really conclude how good these Rockets are.

If the Bucks or Toronto beat the warriors in the finals, then this Rockets team will not even be mentioned much at all. But if the Warriors cruise to another championship without much challenge and then break-up - the Rockets will be remembered as the Warriors biggest challenge and people will remember these series as the real NBA finals.

Rockets are just like the 1996-1998 Miami Heat. Go check out that team, Alozo Mourning and Tim Hardaway were the leaders, couldn't get past Jordon lead bulls , really a soliid team, 2 years won 60 + games....

The 1986 rockets (+3.8 in the playoffs) and the 1997 rockets (+2.2) were arguably better than last year's rockets.

Which Rockets? Definitely not this one, last year Rockets team was pretty good, even then they didn't beat any top 5 team, so it's premature. Last year's team was better than last year's GS team. Rockets 94,95 teams were better than any Harden led Rockets team.
