    No one:

    I mean literally no one:

Rockets fans: what if we trade our lesser players for their best player?

You have to keep Tucker at any cost for two years.

    Give them Austin instead.

Thicc is the heart of the team.

Hopefully Lebron is calling KD to join for one year of ring chasing. Pay him 20 million outta his own pocket.

(CP3) Could get a shooter instead too
    Harden
    Durant
    Lebron
    Tucker/Lebron

No. I would do EG/Capela/Nene and I think the salaries match up. But Tucker is essential to this team. If you could ensure there are cheap replacements to be had for Gordon and Capela(no easy task), then that deal would make the Rockets the favorites in the West next year. Hell, LeBron could coast the entire regular season and then just flip the switch in the playoffs.

But there's no way LeBron didn't sign off on Vogel. The only thing that would drive him to demand a trade before next season is if they don't land any big name free agents. Which BTW is a distinct possibility.

Deandre Jordan, Ed Davis, Brooks Lopez, Vucevic, Looney, etc....are all free agents.

Austin Rivers is a free agent. Can’t trade him.

Could work since we have regular season MVP who can carry us through the season.
Lebron could coast till the postseason...
But still that trade is wild and completely depletes the team, The Tillman would do it......

    I'm okay with this.

Gordon is going to need a new contract after next season.

PJ should have his jersey retired but the guy is also 34 and a decline should come soon.

Capela is Capela. He's still better than half of the starting centers in NBA but can be replaced by someone like DeAndre.

Give us LeBron, we win one title for Harden and Paul and I don't care what this team does for the next 4-5 years, which coincides with when their contracts run out.

No to tucker! Give me lebron but they will take e gordon and capella and maybe some scraps. Just like any star that is traded.. it is really hard to get equal value in return.

We don't NEED LeBron. It's just that having him would vault us ahead of the rest of the West.

As for the Lakers, it's not a matter of whether they would do that. It's whether or not LeBron demands a trade. That organization is such a dumpster fire right now that national media types are openly advocating for him to force his way out of there.

Tucker was the best playoff perfomer in relation to the regular season. Then EGo and Harden.

You, folks, get the idea. Insert another name.

Harden carries through the regular season. LeBron carries through the postseason. Regular season Harden shows up to replace Hayden from time to time to help postseason LeBron. Harden, Hayden, LeBron. That may actually be enough to make a finals appearance.

To be fair, I don't think Dahntay Jones is a Rox fan dreaming of Rox fantasies. That said, he still pulled this one out of his ass.

Of course DM & Tillman would in a heartbeat
DM is admittedly obsessed with the Warriors
Adding LBJ while they lose KD bring us closer than ever to them talent-wise
Tillman is rumored to be all-in on spending next year
No single player could help his bottom line more than LBJ in a lux tax situation

CP3 would finally have his boat buddy that would actually defend so he's all in
It would really come down to Harden signing off on sharing the Alpha role
That's the part about which I am unsure
Well ... that and whether LBJ and/or Lakers would accept a trade to HOU

On a side note ... WTF has happened to the Lakers?
If LBJ were to force his way out after 1 yr, just think about all the talent either expunged from the organization (at all levels) or missed-out-on as an outside addition ... just for 1 lotto season with LBJ:

2017/03 - Fired longtime GM Mitch Kupchack to hire Rob Pelinka, supposedly to give them the inside track to acquiring hometown star Paul George down the road by hiring his agent as new GM
2017/06 - gave away supposed future core (and future All-Star PG) D'angelo Russell for expiring Brook Lopez contract to clear cap space
2018/02 - dumped useful young role players Jordan Clarkson & Larry Nance for expiring deals of Isiah Thomas & Channing Frye
2018/06 - renounced RFA rights to another ascending former lotto building block in Julius Randle, allowing more talent to leave for nothing
2018/07 - signed LeBron (and a bunch of 1yr vet scrubs) with all that cap space, while missing out on PG13, Kawhi, ADavis and all other 'star' FAs
2019/04 - lost franchise icon Magic Johnson over supposed power struggle within organization about firing GM, who may well be on the outs anyway

That's 2 GMs, 1 icon, 2 budding young stars, several young role players, and any other superstars that may have come if not for LBJ's presence
    All for 1 lotto season?

Imagine if they had simply taken the non-cap space route and kept the young core together while supplementing with vet role players where needed (like at Center):

C - Randle / FA vet like Tyson Chandler
    PF - Kuzma / Nance
    SF - Ingram / Hart
    SG - KCP / Clarkson
    PG - Russell / Ball

    Yes pleeeeeease.

It’s been mega entertaining over the years watching the Rockets (hence forth dubbed the “Star Chasers or: How I learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Refs”) consistently adding has-been stars to their roster and falling short in the playoffs. Again and again and again.

That’s literaly been their “championship formula” since 1996. [Insert Einstein quote about the definition of insanity here.] Adding LeBron to the mix would be GOLD.

    Are you not entertained??? =]
