I think, I figured out the five-step plan of what happens with Mourinho managed teams. First, he takes them over at a low point. Let's say, a 5. Second, he brings them up a couple of levels. Let's say, a 7. Third, the players and/or management/ownerships grow sick of him and his teams begin to perform at a level below they were when he got there. Let's say, a 4. Fourth, he gets sacked. Fifth, the team reacts by playing at a level beyond their max with him. Which is what we are seeing with Manchester United right now. This didn't happen with Porto and not really with Inter, but did at Chelsea, Real Madrid, and United.

Enjoyable weekend. United win for the 9th time in 10 games under OGS on a beautiful Pogba pass for an excellent Rashford goal. Arsenal loses moving United up to 5th. Tim Weah scores again for Celtic. USMNT handles Costa Rica and is looking good under new management. If only Huddersfield didn't suck so bad and could've held Chelsea. That was a bit much to ask, though.

If it happened to anyone other than that douche Guardiola, I'd think it sad. That said, couldn't have worked out better for United. We're still clear in 4th and Chelsea is just going to continue to sink.

I enjoyed Spurs, they counter attacked and were dangerous in the 2nd half.

They really dominated Dortmund...and did it without Kane and Dele. It's a shame they're so inconsistent because they really should be challenging City and Liverpool for the title. Dortmund just looked discombobulated and completely disorganized defensively. They had chances to score but just couldn't make that last pass/movement to get clean looks.

I have to imagine the decision to give the FA Cup to ESPN is not working out at all. It's only available with an ESPN+ subscription. I can't imagine the viewership is better than having games on actual tv.

This thread is not the same without @Yung-T - huge CL day and no posts?

I'm concerned that Bayern will get smacked at Liverpool...

It might be just me but I fear Coman and Gnabry.

He's alive. You can find him on twitter pretty frequently. Good guy.

Anyhoo... GO RED DEVILS! The climb back into the top 4 continues.

I planned to watch Tottenham-Dortmund but turned out that Ajax-Real is an incredible game.

One of the most enjoyable games i remember.

Looks like Madrid might get a High Draft pick this year.
