My standard team losing semi's with Philip Lindsey and Saquon Barkley pooping the bed, while getting beat by Hopkins, Tevin Coleman and Jordan Howard having big games. Oh well, there is always next year...

Alright CF, I've got a team in the championship game this week (16) standard scoring and this is my squad:

    QB
    Goff @Ari
    Wilson vs. KC

    RB
    Zeke vs. TB
    Conner @ NOLA
    L. Miller @EAGLES
    Breida vs. CHI
    Ware @ SEA
    D. Williams @SEA

    WR
    Julio @CAR
    Thielen @ DET
    Jeffrey vs. HOU

    TE
    Cook vs DEN

    K
    Tucker @CHARGERS

    D
    Bears @ 49ers
    Jacksonville @MIA

Need a QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, TE, FLEX, K and D

    What y'all think?

    I'm thinking

    Wilson
    Zeke
    Conner
    Julio
    Jeffrey
    Cook
    Miller (flex is real tough)
    Tucker
    Bears

Good choices, but hard to sit Thielen, even with his recent slump.

Yea, I think I might just go

    Wilson
    Zeke
    Conner
    Julio
    Thielen
    Cook
    Jeffrey
    Tucker
    Bears

I couldnt sit thielen in your situation. Miller being banged up makes it easier to sit him.

Practice reps should help decide between Conner and Ware.

Correct... its possible Samuels gets the start (or at least a share of the PIT touches), just as its possible that Damien Williams gets the start (or perhaps an even bigger share) of the KC touches.

Yea, it's a real dumpster fire with the RB's all being injured Conner/Breida/Miller/Ware... but I think Conner is the play here... I think (and hope) he is just good to go by the weekend. Based on what happened last week I think Conner should be a go with another week of treatment/rest/recovery.

    Full point PPR, pick one:

    Derrick Henry vs WAS
    Damien Williams @ SEA

I know Henry is on a literal roll, but in full ppr I'd go Damien Williams. Which in fact I am (over Fournette). Good luck!

Standard: Goff vs ARI or Allen vs NE? And Gordon vs BAL or Lindsay vs OAK? Thanks!

With standard being so TD-weighted, I think it would be hard for me to sit Gordon even with Lindsay in a cherry matchup. Stick with talent. I could see Gordon having maybe 60 total yards but 2 TD upside, whereas Lindsay could finish with 120 yards 0 TD. Denver just isn't a high scoring offense.

I think Josh Allen has proven he's legit as a fantasy QB while Goff is in a horrible slump and struggling to move the offense without Kupp. If Gurley is out too, I think that sets up for another disappointment.

I cannot ever advocate sitting Henry in December. He's a sledge hammer by this point in the season. It is becoming a clear trend. As soon as the cold weather hits and the defenses are banged up, Henry comes in and cleans house.

Looks like you're going to have to go with Zeke + D Williams at RB.

Julio is apparently pretty hurt and even if he does play, not going to be near 100%.

You might need to go to the waiver wire now to find a flex option.

Robby Anderson, Robert Foster, Tre'Quan Smith, Tim Patrick, Alfred Blue, CJ Anderson, all possible plays.

    I ended up going

    Wilson
    D. Williams
    Zeke
    Julio
    Jeffrey
    Cook
    Jamaal Williams
    Tucker
    Bears

Sitting on 115 standard up 22 + Jared Cook vs Doug Martin tonight

Joined a survivor fantasy football league... you choose 5 players (QB, 1-2 RBs, 1-2 WRs, 1-2 TEs), but the catch is you can only start any player once. So it appears you should pick the best player-DEF matchups for that week, and seems better to pick players from teams that may get eliminated early.

So thinking this week: either Watson vs IND or Luck vs HOU, Ebron or Ertz as my TE (leaning Ebron), Elliott vs SEA as one RB, and either Carson or Edwards vs LAC as my RBs, and TY Hilton vs HOU or Hopkins vs IND. Thinking of going early with the game with the highest over/under (IND/HOU), HOU seems to give up points to TEs, and avoiding anyone going against BAL (even if LAC wins).

Seem like reasonable choices? And between Watson or Luck, and Hilton or Hopkins, and Carson or Edwards?

Unfortunately, no one advised me to play Hilton over Hopkins. Pierre Desir completely dominated Hopkins. As did O'Brien playcalling.
