Someone offered Deshaun Watson for Cam Newton. Yes or no?

So the commish veto'ed the trade said that he doesnt like injured players being traded away so he said to re-work the trade.

So traded Juju, Miller and Fournette for AB.

Now I am screwed if AJ doesn't come back because I will have a really weak flex player (unless Bell does return and play as a 3rd down back or WR3 for Pitt) because I dont know about John Brown in my flex. But if AJ does come back healthy I really like my team going into the playoffs.

If I can win first somehow I am blowing some of the money on a new iMac. Mine is getting a bit old. I'm feeling pretty good. I need Marlon Mack to do well, if he does I am looking pretty good.

I think I really used my desperation to my advantage this week. I’m sitting at 3-6 and one game out of the last playoff spot. Trade wise, I moved Gurley and AJ Green for AB, McCaffery, and Edelman. An absolutely steal. Then moved Edelman for Watson. Wrapped it all up with dropping Cousins and snagging Jack Doyle off of waivers.

    My team now:

    QB: Watson, Wilson

RB: McCaffery, Dalvin Cook, Lamar Miller, Breida

WR: AB, Alshon, Funchess, Sutton, DT

    TE: Kittle, Doyle

    K: Gould (Steaming)

    Def: Jets (Streaming)

If Dalvin Cook is legit back I can be lethal. Thoughts?

I'm not sure about the trade. But I almost guarantee you will win this week lol.

I’m having a tough time deciding on who to start today for the Patriots.

    Sony Michel
    Or
    Josh Gordon?

My standard team... short five player bench so I have been rolling with only one QB on my roster (Goff). Week 12 is his bye week. Unfortunately, its also the bye week for my kicker (Butker). I have one roster spot I'd be OK dropping to cover one of them. And, I have waiver position 3 of 10.

QBs on waivers right now: Mayfield (week 12 opponent at CIN), Dalton (home vs CLE), Mariota at HOU, Prescott home vs WAS, and the BAL pair (Flacco or Jackson vs OAK). I can drop Jones Jr to grab a QB this week and hold until week 12, then drop and go back to Goff.

Kickers on waivers: Tucker (!) coming off waivers, Elliott, Bryant/Tavecchio, Badgley, Maher.

Which QB should I add, and is it worth using the #3 waiver to add the preferred QB for one week. Or should I use it on Tucker since I will use him for the rest of the season/playoffs? Or rely on streaming kickers (which I do with my other team).

I have Mahomes and Zuerline as a kicker in all 3 of my leagues. Going to try and go to L. Jackson in every single one of them.

Yea, this is huge for Conner owners (me included). Great stuff.

Lots of folks getting top 5 talent off the WW or from a late round pick.

Will likely win a lot of leagues for Conner owners out there.

I tried to trade Conner to teams in my standard league. They all turned him down, thinking Bell would come back in a few weeks. Even the Bell owner turned me down. I added him before week 1 off waivers (had the last draft pick so got the first waiver claim).

In other NFL news... they are moving the Monday Night Game from Mexico City to Los Angeles due to horrible field conditions. A few unnamed players threatened to not play for fear of injury. Since one option was to reschedule for a later week (would have meant players would be "zeroes" like the hurricane game in Florida). So now a home game for LAR, who had been training in Colorado Springs.

Anyone planning ahead for the playoffs already? What are some good defenses to own?

I have Chicago defense but their playoff schedule is rough - Rams in week 14 and GB in week 15.

Here are some options available with week 14 and 15 opponents in ( ):

    HOU Def (IND, NYJ)
    TEN Def (JAX, NYG)
    PIT Def (OAK, NE)
    DEN Def (SF, CLE)

    Who would you pick up?

Maybe I’m overthinking it, but I think I have a tough call this week at QB.

Matty Ice vs Dallas or Wentz vs NOLA?

Ryan is having a great year, but I like the matchup more for Wentz.
